I actually went all the way to the backside of Pink Painted Lady and pressed my phone against the window to take this shot of the view to the backyard. No wonder this old house cost $3.5 million. I have heard it was last owned by a tech lady. She was trying to restore this house to its former glory but only completed the ground floor so far. It has now turned into a pop-up museum.

We walked along this medieval street in Tallinn today. I had to wait for almost 10 minutes before I could get a clean shot of this street without any people. I wouldn't even believe this was once part of the Soviet Union.
Before the Kemosabe Liquid Sunshine, each Sunday afternoon I'd take a long walk through either Astoria or Long Island City. Then, I would arrive back home around 4 or 5pm when I'd prepare an early dinner

I'm on the road back, having concluded my 6th Cycle on Thursday, October 2nd. Tis a bumpy road, mind you, as I am still afflicted with Neuropathy of my feet, which are both numb, allied with swollen ankles. Makes walking quite challenging. I'm feeling how nothing significant will change until mid-November or early December. That's just a hunch and I may be completely wrong. I'm no doctor.
When I first began my Cycles back in early June (2025), I was having my head shaven each week. Then it stopped growing completely, though several days ago I noticed how it has begun to grow again

We were taken to this ranch about 40 drive from Helsinski. We had lunch there. And just when we were about to leave, I took this snapshot of the homestead at the ranch.
While we were heading to the Baltic Sea from Skagen, we saw this narrow funnel from the sly that looked like a small tornado. I immediately captured this shot with my phone.

We went past Ranch San Ramon the other day and spotted these purple lupines behind an iron fence. Needless to say, I had to stop and take a photo. I couldn't stick my camera out through the fence between the iron bars, so I had to use my phone instead. This gives you the perspective of my POV.
We took a tour of the railway museum in Carson City. When I peeked into this passenger train car, I was spooked by this woman's shadow. Turned out it was a Judy Garland cardboard figure.

I parked my car on California St last Sunday before I walked over to Chinatown for some street photography. Saw this cable car just cruising down the street from Nob Hill. I took this shot because judging from the facial expression of these passengers, that didn't seem to be a thrill ride.
Taken with my new phone, it has 3 times more megapixels than the Nikon D5100 I normally take hiking. It came out in August and I was eligible for a free phone upgrade. I don't try to carry my Nikon D850 on long walks. I just can't take the weight. We've had a warm Christmas week with temps in the 50's and perfect walking weather with no wind. About to change over to rain by tonight.

A prism from the Kiev 88 camera attached to my Mamiya C220 through an adapter. Works well and looks much better than the Mamiya prism.
We entered one of the most unique wooden churches yesterday in Oslo. This particular one was reconstructed and is part of a museum today. The church was built according to the Viking traditions and was known as a stave church commonly found in Northern Europe especially Norway.

My hunch paid off as this structure was completely torn down. I've been photographing the back of the building, as the front faces a police station, and not many people understand why I photograph construction. Several times I've been asked if I was an insurance surveyor. That one makes sense, as many times I'm dressed from work. No, just a hobbyist photographer. Essentially it's my documenting the pre/post gentrification of my neighborhood

New addition. Love it. People in the suburbs hang these metal flowers upon their backyard fences. Me, I hang mine on my apartment walls, and, as of today, now own ten of them. And that metal piece surrounding the flower, I found one afternoon walking home from work. It's really cool looking.
I've actually found quite a few nice pieces walking home from work, one of which was an elongated wooden coffee table made of walnut wood, no blemishes, perfect condition, which I proceeded to carry across 4 avenues, then up the 4 flights to my apartment. Some things you just shouldn't ignore

The Weltmuseum had a collection of armor suits in exhibition when we went there two weeks ago. I did not know that the armored helmet can be this comical. I just had a little laugh at a few of these samples.
While at St Peter's Square at night a couple years ago, I took this shot of The "Angels Unaware" boat by Canadian artist Timothy P. Schmalz with the full moon abovre. This 20-foot sculpture depicts 140 migrants ranging from a Jewish man escaping Nazi Germany to a Syrian refugee fleeing the civil war. It was unveiled during mass on the 105th World Day of Migrants and Refugees on Sunday.
We were at Las Vegas Sphere yesterday watching "Wizard of Oz" in 18K resolution. I spotted a group of moviegoers in front of us all decked out with the costumes of the movie characters. I then captured this scene when they all stood up to let a latecomer audience pass in front of them. It just happened that Judy Garland appeared at the center of the movie screen.
Yesterday I saw this modified VW Beetle at a strip mall plaza. I thought it was cute and I couldn't resist to take some photos of it both from the front and from the back. I think this would be a perfect commute vehicle for Amsterdam. I saw quite a few one-person vehicles driven on the bike lanes over there.
I took a side trip yesterday just to see this apartment condo as recommended by one of the travel Youtubers. We were stunned by its incredible architecture. It even has a boat launching dock at its center courtyard as can be seen on one of the photos in my collage. I had to create a collage just to cover the different points of view.
