St. Mary's Trophy Part 2, a race for saloon cars that were raced between 1960 and 1966.
Another marvelous Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA from 1965, raced by Charlie March.
The faster they go the higher the jump or yump as they say in Scandinavia but probably not much difference in air under the car between this Toyota Gazoo Racing Team car and the Skoda image before.
Interesting tread pattern on the tyre - almost slicks on half the tyre.
The very bright sunshine was challenging, as was the dust that coated everything after the cars past !! But at least it was cooler in the woods than out in the open.

It was great to meet him in person having followed Ed on Flickr for a long time. I was due to meet up at last years Goodwood Festival of speed but due to my own fault I lost my passport on the way out of Switzerland. The time to get a replacement meant I was unable to attend.......
Lost my money on the entry fee ticket for FOS but the painful part was new airline tickets and a 5 day hotel extended stay in order to collect the temporary passport from the Berne Embassy. Not going to live that one down.
Anyway many thanks Ed - great to meet in person and have a chat over a cup of tea etc. Look forward to another time, maybe a track day at Goodwood. Your panning skills are a masterclass that I need some assistance with !!!

Two E-Types competing: no 9 raced by Marc Gordon and Ludovic Lindsay, no 2 unfortunately not documented.
The Goodwood Revival takes place every September and is a classic car-based event that transports visitors back to 1940s-1960s period. Adding to the period feel, the shuttle bus 902 service from Chichester to the event features a number of vintage buses as well as modern examples.
I visited the shuttle terminals on the Sunday (19/09/2021) and enjoyed the atmosphere throughout the day.
