As I wrote on previous posts, New Orleans is a city full of vibe. On pretty much every block around its historic French Quarter, there is something to photograph. Whether it's a nice building, a store full of Black Magic stuff or maybe just a cool looking passerby. Just like this guy here who gave me a nice smile when he realized that he was photobombing me. Except that he wasn't photobombing me. I was waiting for him to be at the right spot of my frame. When I saw him I immediately felt like he was a musician from an older decade. Maybe the jungle man that got the blues. Thanks for viewing and happy Wednesday y'all!
PS: thanks to Fani Karanikola for the music of this photo!
C.W. Stoneking - We Gon' Boogaloo
Long before Red and White replaced the green and yellow and the pair of 9's went OOS are working the nightly Jackson turn with a cut of RSDC empty coil gons in tow. On top of the things I already listed all of the bins on the right are also now gone.

Last night we let the liquor talk
I can't remember everything we said, but we said it all
You told me that you wish I was somebody you never met
But baby, baby, something's tellin' me this ain't over yet
No way it was our last night
I kiss your lips
Make you grip the sheets with your fingertips
Last bottle of Jack, we split a fifth
Just talk about life goin' sip for sip, yeah
You, you know you love to fight
And I say shit, I don't mean
But I'm still gon' wake up wantin' you and me
I know that last night we let the liquor talk
I can't remember everything we said, but we said it all
You told me that you wish I was somebody you never met
But baby, baby, something's tellin' me this ain't over yet
No way it was our last night (last night, last night)
No way it was our last night (last night, last night)
No way it was the last night that we break up
I see your tail lights in the dust
You call your momma, I call your bluff
In the middle of the night, pull it right back up
Yeah, my, my friends say, "Let her go"
Your friends say, "What the hell?"
I wouldn't trade your kind of love for nothin' else
Oh, baby, last night we let the liquor talk
I can't remember everything we said, but we said it all
You told me that you wish I was somebody you never met
But baby, baby, something's tellin' me this ain't over yet
No way it was our last night, we said we'd had enough
I can't remember everything we said, but we said too much
I know you packed your shit and slammed the door right before you left
But baby, baby, something's tellin' me this ain't over yet
No way it was our last night (last night, last night)
No way it was our last night (last night, last night)
I know you said this time you really weren't coming back again
But baby, baby, something's tellin' me this ain't over yet
No way it was our last night (last night, last night)
No way it was our last night (last night, last night)
After working customers in Hamilton's north end, TH11 returns to Kinnear Yard with five scrap gons from Strathearne Yard in tow as the snow begins to fly.

You might expect a railroad like the IHB, serving heavy industry, to have lots of steel based traffic, and you'd be right! Witness a seemingly endless train of gons led by two GP40-2's on such a winter's day in Dolton, IL.

Rounding out my very first visit to the Pittsburgh Line in 2016, a pair of NS SD70's lead a lengthy train of old steel Top Gons at Carneys Crossing. Man i wish i could relive this scene again.

Locals often say “Sài Gòn” when referring to the central districts, especially the downtown area (District 1) and places with a nostalgic or cultural connection to the city’s past.

The black beach in Jökulsarlon was really different than anything I've seen before. It's mesmerizing, but at the same time absolutely depressing. In Iceland you can definitely feel lonely.

With thanks to Paul for his Giraffe

and using my photo of an oil painting signed by artist Curren, which we bought in Queensland, Australia c 2002. It hangs on our wall. Cannot find any record of this artist on the Internet.
Love this painting, and it instantly appealed as a setting for the giraffe :-)
