Election Day

What is your direction of photography?

#1 Extreme care for technical quality. Shoot RAW and know all the tricks in post-production. Creativity lies in the digital darkroom.

#2 Care for aesthetics. Meaning and form are the essences of art. Quality relying on technology or equipment is not lasting ever.

#3 Care for everything. I care for technical quality as well as aesthetics, social responsibility and whatever else.

All directions are equal but some are better than the other. The only exception one is care for everything. Everything is important means everything is unimportant!

What is your direction?

Happy weekend!

We have rain on Saturday and I am finding direction for rain free destinations!! :o)

What about taking this empty cup and filling it up

With a little bit more of innocence

I haven't had enough, it's probably because when you're young

It's okay to be easily ignored

I like to believe it was all about love for a child

I confess, my Flickr friends! I'm getting antsy! I'm sitting on 30 pictures I took when Amy was here, which fit 114 Picture topics! Sooooo... here are three more today!

After the early morning at The Cliff and waiting in Laguna Beach for a rental car to replace the one with the overheating engine, Amy and I headed north on the Pacific Coast Highway to Crystal Cove State Park. What an amazing place! I'm going to give you sites to visit as there's much too much information to record here!

For an overall view, go to www.crystalcovestatepark.com. Note ~ 16 movies were made there between 1918 and 1988.

The park's concession partner, the Crystal Cove Alliance, provides food and overnight lodging...

The Trail is to the left. Slippery when wet. Always step to the left not the right going towards Kalalau Beach. Step right coming back towards Ke'e Beach. If you are afraid of heights, this part might stop you. But if you make it past here, it will be clear sailing forward. And a lot of work. Each way you have to climb three hills. Kalalau hike. Na Pali Coast, Kauai, Hawaii. Hiking Hawaii & Kauai. There are Youtube videos of the crossing of crawler's ledge.

366 Day 365: I am fascinated by perception: for example, does this say to you, as it is supposed to suggest, "turn sharp left"? Probably.

Or if you see it metaphorically, does it suggest more "moving ahead" or "going backwards"? I suspect the latter, because our reading habits have conditioned us to think left to right.

Which is interesting with only one more day to go in 366. Am I looking back more than forward? Why is that?

and praps the helmet wasn't quite working properly coz had big green dot for a while after, oops...

This wall is the perfect place for graffiti and this is the third major piece of graffiti I've seen on it
