Common Goldstar or Yellow star grass (Hypoxis hirsuta) is a low, tufted, grass-like plant that grows from a hard corm. The corm is hard and hairy. It is found growing in open woodlands, abandoned fields, lawns, prairies, and other open areas. Although not an aggressive plant, it can spread to form colonies.

Ballroom Goldstar... - It's been a while since I posted. It was busier on a personal level, but hey here we are back.... When we stepped here to the first vediep we quickly saw that we had to be careful. In it was a large hole and parts of the floor had collapsed. This abandoned ballroom is beyond saving, I'm afraid.
