My daughter's new puppy..a house warming gift from me and he is just precious! What is it about a puppy???!!!! The best part is that Atticus loves him!

Our Golden puppy, Magnolia, peeking from behind our burning bushes.

Meet Alfie. He is a 10 week old golden retriever and has just become a member of the family of one of the owners of the company I work for. Yesterday Phill and I went over to meet him and of course take some photos. Needless to say I have fallen in love:-) He is the most adorable ball of fluff ever. I think you might see quite a lot of this little chap - lol

This has been our first full week with Sir Fredrick the Magnificent. And it has been great. He is quite the charmer and cuddler. Plus he's doing well on the (almost) sleeping through the night thing. Plus he still makes those little puppy grunting sounds when he's tired. Us humans are in love.

Eva and Agnes are transitioning from ignoring to accepting. Or at least they will let him on the same dog bed with them.

Eva loves lounging in this space by the patio door at the cabin. Fred loves bringing all of the dog toys (plus the occasional shoe) onto the dog bed. Somehow I think Fred won the war over who gets to use more of the space.

Fred loves Eva. Eva knows that he loves her. And that's as far as this love story goes.

Our new little Golden, Maggie, enjoying her first deep snow.

Well you've seen him upside down a couple of times. Here is what he looks like the right way up.

Happy Furry Friday everyone!

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend

Only two more weeks until my holiday - yipeee!!

Fred loves Agnes without boundaries.

It's Fred's lack of boundaries which stops Agnes from fully loving him back.

Love how this shot captures their relationship with just their expressions.

Hallo, ich bin Bonita. Ein Golden Retriever Welpe. Ich schaue jetzt mal öfters hier rein.

=================================

Hello, I'm Bonita. A golden retriever puppy. I'll check in here more often now.

Eva and Fred sharing a common interest at the lake - watching stuff from the deck.

We had a work weekend here putting in a new dock and doing yard work. The three dogs spent their time on the deck on Saturday watching us work and looking out for birds and squirrels. Freddie did this partly from his kennel on the deck. The whole day was just exhausting for him with him solidly out cold sleeping either on the floor or in a person's arms from 7pm 'til bedtime. So much to see and learn as a new dog.

Freddie crowding the scene on the deck chair. He is a typical golden retriever - absolutely confident that he belongs everywhere. Even if there is objectively not enough room.

A friend ask me to take photos of his new Golden Retriever puppy.

For The Smile on Saturday group - From Right Above"

Eva and Freddie on a deck chair. Eva is getting very practiced at ignoring Fred. But, that doesn't stop Fred from hanging out with her.

I also have a few shots of both of them looking at the camera. But this one of Eva looking up and to the left made me laugh.

This donut bed is one of Aggie's favorate things. But, Fred thinks he also fits. Aggie thinks that is pure and utter garbage.

Puppies grow up way to fast. Here is 6 month old Fred looking all adolescent handsome. With just a titch of goofy thrown in to the mix too.

And now for something completely different. During this pandemic of 2020, we have lots of time on our hands. I decided to play around with Studio 2 and some images from last year. This is of my Golden Retriever pup named Chelsea who was just over one year old at the time. The photo was from a cellphone. (image 3918) Please also visit: acadiamagic.com.

Meet Captain Malcolm Reynolds - and no, I didn't name him - he's a grand puppy...

I am delighted with achieving my 3rd Flickr Explore with this photo! Thank you for all the faves and kind comments! -Annie

Misty Rose was only 11 weeks old when she came to Golden Retriever Rescue because she had a potentially serious heart condition. The specialist vets who diagnosed her advised she would need to wait until she was eight months old to have her heart rechecked to see if it was going to affect the quality of her adult life. Misty Rose settled into her foster home and was a highly energetic and happy little girl who loved to play with her foster brothers and sisters and gave the best cuddles to everyone she met. When Misty Rose had her heart rechecked at eight months it was the best possible news. Her heart is close to normal and the vet advised there is no reason for her not to lead a long, happy and healthy life.

Loves water, Charles often sits in the garden when it's raining.

Another picture of Honey - I thinks she has beautiful eyes with looooooong blonde eyelashes.

Best viewed large if you have time. Thanks.

Agnes: Well, NewestPuppy, I've come to a preliminary conclusion.

Fred: That my name is not actually NewestPuppy?

Agnes: Nope. Bruno called me NewPuppy for seven years, so you're definitely NewestPuppy.

Fred: I'm agreeable as can be, so that's okay with me.

Agnes: Want to hear my preliminary conclusion?

Fred. I got distracted and forgot. But now definitely yes.

Agnes: You may not be that horrible.

Fred: I'll take it! I love you too.

Agnes: Let's not go too far here.

Fred: Got it. Not going anywhere as we're on the deck with this big railing.

Agnes: Yup. You're a retriever.

Fred: Sure am. Want to play wrestle until I get distracted and find something else to chase?

Agnes: Yes. But with strong limits.

Agnes is starting to think that Fred may not be horrible. That's a huge improvement for her. She still is spending way more time than usual napping on the bed that he can't get to her on. But, the outside play sessions are becoming more frequent. With serious boundaries on her part.

Guide Dog Puppy Charles is 13 weeks

Firestar is a five month old puppy in foster care with Golden Retriever Rescue. She was surrendered because she has an ectopic ureter and a small bladder which causes her to leak urine. Laser surgery and a collagen insert has only been partly successful. When Firestar is fully grown she will have more surgery to permanently fix the problem. In the meantime Firestar is a cheeky little puppy who enjoys lots of cuddles and playing with her new golden retriever brother and sister.
