Crazy Tuesday theme: On Top

Thank you everyone for your visits, faves, and kind comments

It would appear that it's a ghost sign, but the restaurant is now part of the Dry Creek Golf Course and wears no distinguishing signage on the building.

This Pyrex Gold Acorn lidded casserole features a very retro pattern of golden oak leaves and acorns scrolling across a beige background. The pattern was produced in the starting in 1960 for only a short time.

My hutch and shelf display for autumn and Thanksgiving. I'm going to be changing these out tomorrow for my Christmas and winter goodies :)

The Friendship is 11/2 pt

The Town & Country is 1 pint

The gorgeous Golden Acorn is 2 quart

I love the shape and feel of the pitcher. The top sort of slants upwards. (You can probably see that better in the other photo). I'm guessing it's one quart in size.

I know the Bluebird casserole isn't exactly a fall dish, but I do love turquoise :) Happy Thanksgiving!

A happy mail day! The packaging on these was pretty sparse, so I'm glad they made it. The top left photo shows all the padding they had on their way across the country.

These are my first ones (aside from salt and pepper shakers) that are in the box. I love the little brochure that came with them too :)

The leaves and acorns on the bottom divided casserole are larger than those on the other divided casserole.

Golden Acorn 043 (dupe) purchased two weeks ago or so for $3.49 no lid. I like the gold pieces and haven't purchased anything in a while so I picked it up.

Pyrex Empire Scroll Filigree 045 2 1/2 QT $4.99 there was a lid in another area of the store today for 1.99 but I noticed at the checkout it was chipped on both handles so I left it behind.

There was also a small Ivy that was so DWD I almost cried and two dishes that looked like solid Old Orchard that were so scorched from an oven broiler I passed on them all. Wish I had my camera to show the damage. So sad.

I am so happy about the gold pieces.

Pale yellow and Golden Acorn. Got them thrown in for free with another purchase at a yard sale!

Golden Tulip under the bed I mean tree this morning?

Golden Acorn divided dish from Sally Ann's.

Antique shopping wIth the best girlfriend in the world.

Pyrex Golden Acorn Space Saver 548-b 1 1/4qt dish $2.95 no lid

Pyrex S&P Spring Blossom $5.95

Black egg cup 2.95

Orange Southern Belle dresser scarf $8.00

Circular vintage fabric with doily 1.50

Purple feedsack fabric $8.00

Orange feedsack sewn into a large pillowcase 12.00

Then I went back and saw the

Pink Pyrex 221 8 inch cake pan for only $3.00

And the orange check fabric was only a dollar.

It's my birthday in two weeks so ....there!

I got all of this yesterday at Goodwill. What a great day!

The pitcher is completely clear. That is; without any pattern. Bottom says:

PYREX

MADE IN USA

DO NOT USE ON TOP OF RANGE

Found all four of these in one week. Nearly had to arm wrestle the guy to get the Charcoal Snowflake. He runs the store, collects Pyrex, and didn't know someone had put it out for sale. When he saw the price they had put on it, $4.00, he really wasn't happy.

Aaargghh... I really DO need to get these cabinets painted QUICKLY, as they look quite ghastly against their contents...

We were shopping for button up dress shirts for the man cub and found 3 of them at wonderful thrift store prices of 2.99 each! While standing in line with my son I saw the cart come out and stop by the dishware. I told my young man to hold our spot in line and walked over to find this baby for $1.99! Score. Golden Acorn. I love it when pieces are priced like I am used to from 7 years ago! Prices keep going up and up but evey once in a while I find a deal. My phone camera focused on the quilt instead of the dish! Sorry. I was so excited!!!

The sun rises over Glenrothes this morning. Taken from the bus station.

Shown in 18k yellow gold, available in other noble metals. This unique earwire allows the rosette to be worn high or low... and may be used with other dangles of your choice... by J.Dewey Designs.

On the top shelf reside my golden acorn divided dish (with lid, which came together for $6!!) and my golden poinsettia casserole (with Verde lid because I don't have one that would fit)

This is not a divided dish - does anyone know if this is supposed to have a lid - or is it an open baker?

Taken on my Holga. Cross Processed Film.

We were about 50 minutes or so from San Diego, in the mountains at about 4100 feet, when it started snowing. Not a heavy snow, but enough to coat the sides of the mountains white. It was pretty crazy. We pulled off the highway at the Golden Acorn Casino to get out and experience it.
