Wolverines decide NOT to play and take a knee instead. This is the one thing in football that bothers me.
This image was taken at Gatorland in Orlando, Florida. When you go to a place named Gatorland for a shoot it just seems appropriate to post at least one image of a Gator. This particular Gator was approximately eight feet long..
This guy really is pretty AWESOME when viewed on black..
View LARGE or ORIGINAL for more detail if you have time... thanks....

Man, with all this talk of soccer this and vuvuzela that, I really just can't wait till college football season starts again.
I'm all set with my fan gear and ready to cheer - GO GATORS!
This one is dedicated to my alma mater and all you University of Florida Gators out there!
I shot this in my neighbor's yard yesterday evening. The lens is a Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8, on loan from my friend Walter. I'm looking forward to all sorts of wide angle fun this week!
The shot was handheld -- the sunlight faded quickly and I didn't have enough time to set up my tripod.

. . . Another beach game that was popular was this: basically, 2 plastic barrels placed about 20 feet apart, your partner tosses the frisbee at the barrel, and then you try to slam it inside of the barrel with one downward motion. Not as easy as it sounds!
I watched a family from Michigan play this for hours on end! It was always the first game they unpacked.
Have a great week Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!
I was pretty sure we weren't going to get the 10 inches of snow they predicted but I was dead wrong. It hasn't stopped snowing since early yesterday morning. And if that wasn’t enough it's supposed to keep snowing till Wednesday. No wonder we're the 3rd snowiest city in the US
{ODC: Begins with E} EVERLASTING winter.... I know, I know, a very loose interpretation but I wanted to participate : ) Our first snowfall this season came back on Nov. 13th and it still hasnt stopped

The fore-cast one minute before the game was for 80% chance of rain by 6pm. That turned into 100% by a bit before 1pm. It was a wet game. But it felt a lot better than baking for over 4 hours in the bright Sun!!
This is the new Daktronics HD-X LED video board in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The larger south end zone video display measures approximately 136 feet wide by 30 feet high. The video board can operate as single giant displays or be divided into multiple zones (windows) to show a wide variety of statistics, information, graphics, animations, and live and recorded video.
