I was only in Detroit for a quick stop, and it happened to be a rainy night - umbrella in hand and out I went. Not my best work as I was fighting raindrops on the lens and keeping the umbrella out of the frame
Comments and Critiques are most welcome on this picture and I'll glad to read them but my prime purpose of posting this picture is to spread the awareness about growing Danger of Genetically Modified Food.

So what is GM Food???
Genetically modified (GM) foods are foods produced from genetically modified organisms (GMO) that have had their DNA altered through genetic engineering.These plants have been modified in the laboratory to enhance desired traits such as increased resistance to herbicides or improved nutritional content.

Fair enough, so what's the problem with that?
No one can assure that what'll be the consequence of this genetic engineering in long run …. Might be good might be Really BAD (which is more likely) . . . . but if it goes into wrong direction then there is no turning back.

What India has to do with this?
We are running on the risk of field test of GM food …. Because it is easy to do this test in developing countries due to weak regulations, lack of political will-power and last but not least high corruption rate.
In field test GM crops will be grown in open fields for testing but it won't be limited to that area …. The GM plants will produce seeds and they will spread in near and far areas with wind and water . . . .
This crop will the part of food chain so all the above levels of food pyramid will swallow the new "Genetic Code" directly or indirectly . . . .
So Developing nations are actually like Gini Pigs for GM crop testing.

There are GM automobiles as far as the eye can see in the open racks of a train approaching Tunnelhill, Pennsylvania at Bennington Curve. On the next track, Santa Fe trailers promote a term that hasn’t been commonly used in railroading since containers and then stack trains appeared. The piggyback train is being pushed up the mountain by two more GM products.
BNSF GP38-2 2354 sits at GM yard in Hodgkins, IL with BNSF GP50 3196 and HLCX 1069 waiting for assignment.
On September 25, 2020, the national railway museum of Belgium "Train World" in Schaerbeek celebrated its 5th anniversary! To celebrate this, the "5404" of Train World Heritage (the heritage department of NMBS) came to visit during the weekend of 26 & 27 September. The locomotive was on display together with the B-Technics 7741 on Train World
In 5 years time, the museum was visited by 676,929 visitors.

Op 25 september 2020 bestond het nationale spoorweg museum van België "Train World" in Schaarbeek 5 jaar! Om dit te vieren kwam tijdens het weekend van 26 & 27 september de "5404" van Train World Heritage (de erfgoedafdeling van NMBS) op bezoek. De loc was samen met de 7741 van B-Technics te bezichtigen op het buiten terrein van Train World.
Op 5 jaar tijd werd het museum bezocht door 676.929 bezoekers.

CN's L504 crosses the Kaskaskia River just west of Baldwin, IL with a steel train for TMW (The Material Works) Plant 1 at Kaskaskia River Port District Dock 2. The trackage is part of a handful of miles of former GM&O trackage, severed just west of this point, and running southeast through Sparta down to Percy.

RSOS evening job finishes up swapping loaded truck frames and prepares to grab the empties at Oshawa's GM truck plant.
The welcome sight of recently returned GP15 1565 leads once again after a long time in Stratford after breaking down.
GM&O #75, The "Jack Line Local arriving at Greenville, Illinois, in February 1972. RS3 #1516 is in the lead. It was the only RS3 painted solid maroon.
