This was fun. As far as edits, cropped the eyes out, and make it cooler than the super yellow kitchen light. Increased clarity and decreased highlights especially on the bits of skin with cake.
In the third circle am I of the rain
Eternal, maledict, and cold, and heavy;
Its law and quality are never new.
Huge hail, and water sombre-hued, and snow,
Athwart the tenebrous air pour down amain;
Noisome the earth is, that receiveth this.

04.16.2009 -- After work a bunch of us headed to Dodger Stadium for UCLA Day. We got some discount tickets in the all you can eat section. We pigged out on dodger dogs, nachos, soda, peanuts, popcorn, and water. This area was very entertaining. In fact we got to see a couple of Dodgers vs Giants fights. Final score of the game was 7-2 Dodgers.
At the end of the night I took a picture of all the trash that accummulated under the bleachers. haha.
The recipe I used made an 8x8 pan of Millionaire's Shortbread, which is a really sandy, crumbly shortbread crust topped with a layer of caramel (made with sweetened condensed milk, butter, brown sugar and vanilla -- I added a lot of salt and used salted butter), then a layer of chocolate.
Because I love caramel and salt together, I added lots of kosher salt to both the crust and caramel layers and in lieu of actual sea salt (which I would have preferred), a few squares were dusted with pinches before completely setting.
