"When you feel alone, just look at the spaces between your fingers, remember that in those spaces you can see my fingers locked with yours forever."

"I Won't Let You Go"
When it's black
Take a little time to hold yourself
Take a little time to feel around before it's gone
You won't let go but you still keep on falling down
Remember how you save me now from all of my wrongs
Yeah
If there's love just feel it
And if there's life we'll see it
This is no time to be alone, alone yeah
I won't let you go
Say those words
Say those words like there's nothing else
Close your eyes and you might believe
That there is some way out
Yeah
Open up
Open up your heart to me now
Let it all come pouring out
There's nothing I can't take
And if there's love just feel it
And if there's life we'll see it
This is no time to be alone, alone yeah
I won't let you go
(Won't let you go)
(Won't let you go)
If your sky is falling
Just take my hand and hold it
You don't have to be alone, alone yeah
I won't let you go
(Won't let you go)
(Won't let you go)
And if you feel the fading of the light
And you're too weak to carry on the fight
And all your friends that you count on have disappeared
I'll be here not gone, forever holding on
If there's love just feel it
And if there's life we'll see it
This is no time to be alone, alone yeah
I won't let you go
(Won't let you go)
(Won't let you go)
If your sky is falling
Just take my hand and hold it
You don't have to be alone, alone yeah
I won't let you go
(Won't let you go)
(Won't let you go)
I won't let you go
I won't let
I won't let you go
No, I won't let
I won't let you go
I won't let you go
These are mini bottles, each 2,5 cm in diameter, glued together, for tiny flowers like daisies. The different colors of the little bottles seemed to be a good start for this week's macro theme. Some light added a bit atmosphere.
HMM to all participants 💙💙💙
I use glitter glue to put my tags and bows on presents. This is a blob of it on glass above the metallic wrapping paper. The little hexagonal bits are glitter. HMM!

"Stuck Like Glue"
Absolutely no one that knows me better
No one that can make me feel so good
How did we stay so long together?
When everybody, everybody said we never would
And just when I, I start to think they're right
The love has died
There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time?
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know, oh
I'm never letting this go
I'm stuck on you
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue
Some days I don't feel like trying
Some days you know I wanna just give up
When it doesn't matter who's right, fight about it all night
Had enough
You give me that look
"I'm sorry, baby, let's make up"
You do that thing that makes me laugh
And just like that
There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time? (Do it, do it)
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know, oh
I'm never letting this go, oh
I'm stuck on you
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
You almost fell out
Too stuck together from the ATL
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Feeling kinda sick?
Just a spoon full of sugar make it better real quick
I say: "Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
What you gonna do with that?
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Come on over here with that
Sugar sticky sweet stuff
Come on, give me that stuff
Everybody wants some
Melodies that get stuck"
Up in your head
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Up in your head
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Up in your head
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Up in your head
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me together, say, it's all I wanna do
I said
There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time? (Do it, do it)
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know, oh
I'm never letting this go, oh (Never letting this go)
There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time? (Do it, do it)
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know, oh (Know, oh)
I'm never letting this go, oh (I'm never letting this go)
I'm stuck on you
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me, baby, we're stuck like glue

I can't really explain why I would take a photo of glue sticks but I did. They are smooth and clear with vitually no detail.
Xipholeptos notoides, commonly known as the southern pygmy squid, is the sole species in the cephalopod genus Xipholeptos. The species was originally classified as Idiosepius notoides. The southern pygmy squid is native to the southwestern Pacific Ocean, off southern and eastern Australia. It inhabits shallow, inshore waters. Females grow to 25 mm in mantle length, while males are not known to exceed 15.8 mm in mantle length. This species occurs in beds of seagrass in bays and inlets where it feeds during the night on small crustaceans such as shrimp. In the daytime they remain hidden within the seagrass, adhering to the leaves of the seagrass using a glue excreted by a gland on the dorsal surface of the body. The females attach the eggs onto seagrass blades, most typically species of the genera Heterozostera and Zostera. (Wikipedia) Lembeh Strait, North Sulawezi, Indonesia.

originally set out with paper shapes from magazine pages, but to make it my own, I painted and cut out canvas which were then glued to mixed media paper.
I found it hard to communicate to my kids what happened on 9/11. They understood the idea, the concept. They understood it in a gee-that-sucks kind of way. But they did not get it. I was in LA at the time, but like all Americans I was glued to the TV all day. I don't pretend to feel what New Yorkrs felt. That unthinkable assault on normality will always be with those who were Americans on that day. This memorial in New Jersey is called Empty Sky, and its a fitting name. Its still odd to me to see one tower, and not two. I do LOVE that one was rebuilt though.
Sunrise at this monument gives it a special look, like a fireball. I did not know thismonument was here, I never knew it existed, so showing up at the crack of dawn to see the Stature of Liberty, this monument took me by surprise. If find it hard to leave any 9/11 monument, but I thought the simplicity of this one was captivating. I wish I could say I planned the light, but I did not. Just luck. Enjoy.

Glued to the blues, or when something goes wrong, someone late, our brain in the air or the birds by pair like partners at church.
Thanks to the WALL, the most quite and inexquisite model to work with.
The mosaic is moving along at a snail's pace. It is slowly moving along because I have been having some issues with pain in my hands. My index finger on my right hand will sometimes ache/burn when using my phone or mouse, I'm guessing it's an overuse injury. For those who don't know, my daughter and I started the mosaic when the stay at home orders began in March. My daughter created the pattern and helped me dye all of the eggshells. We wanted to create something to remember this time period, we chose eggshells because they were from the food we were consuming and were readily available. The broken eggshells were to represent how fragile life is and how this virus has shattered people's lives. Seeing that in the US the virus is currently raging it is fitting that we haven't finished yet, sometimes time feels like it racing by while we are standing still. Are you working on any new projects?
