Afternoon Glow

This is dedicated to my dear friend Kim. She's someone I have known since childhood and always admired. We've reconnected over the past weeks and are supporting each other with our training (cycling, running, etc). I looked up to her in school, for she was a fantastic athlete and possessed the confidence I never had. She played sports, I did not. Something I regret to this very day. I am really glad to have her in my life and look forward to building our friendship. She's been following me here and looking at my work as well. Hi Luby!

I will be busy this week and will try to get to your streams best I can. I'm traveling next weekend and things will be tight (work, training, oldest kid with me this week, YIP, packing).

I got the composition, I had coffee, so I sat and I sat for that magical moment when the sky erupts and gives a beautiful magenta glow, the sun was setting behind me giving a warm glow to the buildings.

Golden hour in Badlands National Park is pure magic. As the sun dips low, the rugged formations ignite with vibrant hues, and shadows deepen in the canyons, revealing textures millions of years in the making—a fleeting moment when the Badlands truly glow.

The view of the sun setting in the distance on the Isle of Anglesey. The intense orange glow was quite a spectacle.
