Beaucoup restaurants from just about every Asian and South of the Border, ethnic group you can find and any number of my favorites like Eric Cris' Black Forest German Restaurant . . . one of those grand old eateries that stayed
Glam Doll Donuts is a couple of doors down from the Black Forest. It's a 50's retro as you can see with great donut creations and good coffee. They have other things, but I haven't noticed beyond my basic usuals what those are.
This is a shot I took when I stopped in for dessert after a great pho at Quangs up the up the street.

Glam Doll is a relatively new donut shop in the Whittier area of Minneapolis. The feel of the shop is very 1950's, but the flavor combinations have a modern twist (sea salt caramel, s'mores, bacon on just about anything, etc.). I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique donut in the area.
