SB19 GKL is a Volvo B8R/Plaxton leopard Interurban new to Lothian Country in April 2019 as their number 9206. It was initially new for the Green Arrow express routes into Edinburgh which have since been withdrawn.
It is now in the Lothian Motorcoaches fleet and is seen here in Edinburgh operating a rail replacement service.
1996 Rover 100 Knightsbridge 3-door.
1120cc.
Tax expired on 1st January 2021 (has a current MoT test to 6th September 2021).
In present ownership since July 1998.

They really are everywhere! Stagecoach East Midlands training bus 27579 is on Tentercroft Street, Lincoln, on 17.7.23
This has featured on my stream before but the photo was pretty awful so it deserved this better snap. I was actually quite surprised to see it again, it was in roughly the same shape in 2011, right down to that awful lacquer peel. Still, regardless of its less than perfect condition, the owner clearly loves it enough to keep it going.

Fleet update; picked up this Montego Mayfair on Wednesday night as a replacement for one of my now departed Volvos. Having had a Rover Montego in the past I kind of knew what to expect but I am very pleased with it so far, pulls really well and seems to sip fuel. It does have some minor grot to deal with but nothing that appears catastrophic.
It took me to Autoshite's annual forum gathering this past weekend (pictures to follow) in comfort and acquitted itself rather well indeed - this one might be here a while.
