My friends band spires was playing in Oakland. I showed up just as they were starting their last song. This band was after them 'Git some' really frickin' good if you ask me.
Oh, and this was in someones 'barn' behind their house in Oakland a few blocks from the MCarther bart station. It was loud, the cops came but I missed them since I was walking to a local market to purchase a tasty malted beverage when they showed up.
Then on the Bart ride home I almost got my ass kicked by some guys that thought I was some other dude. Thankfully they realized that I was not that guy as they walked up to me. Oaklands HELLA RAD!
I only took a few photos and this was the only one that came out. The batteries on the flash were hella low and not recharging quick enough and I ended up shooting most of it with manual focus. so they were all messed up. Weak excuses I know...

Il Festival, a cura del Ministero della Grafica, è frutto del contributo collettivo di associazioni, singoli e studi che si impegnano nella progettazione, nella riflessione e nella diffusione della grafica in Italia.
Oltre a Storie di Grafica, la mostra collettiva organizzata dal Ministero della Grafica che raccoglie 150 progetti di qualità realizzati da 80 studi selezionati con un bando nazionale, il Festival raccoglie molte delle mostre di grafica realizzate negli ultimi anni in Italia, e di fatto si configura come un’opera collettiva che ospita immagini di grafica editoriale, tipografia, illustrazione,food design, motion e identità, realizzate sia da professionisti affermati che da giovani nel pieno della loro ricerca; sia per clienti importanti che per piccole realtà, fino ad arrivare a progetti autoprodotti.
Accompagnano le mostre momenti di presentazioni e confronto, convivialità e festa in modo che queste giornate possano contribuire all’incontro e alla contaminazione reciproca della comunità della grafica italiana.
