Sean gave a stern though sympathetic look as he handed Diablo his treats. The avian nodded his thanks and quietly padded to his car, feeling the glares of the pair of magicians burning his wings.
Merek gestured, rerailing the conversation," I understand the situation and agree, We will find him. My best estimate is he would attend the Industrial Mall meet in either his heavily modified, er, " Land Cutter" or his Dodge Challenger shooting brake."

The avian acknowledged the command and set his food in the car. He spread his wings and threw his arms forward, his beak wide open in a mute scream. A bright green wall of flames flashed as the avian's body slumped against the side of the hot rod. A shadow of a raven formed and shot into the sky with incredible speed.
Malificient allowed a slight grin as she noted Sean's expression and almost bumped into Gus as she moved her staff forward." Now let's see who is there," The orb glowed and an image projected Diablo's flight." Here is our quarry !"
" Thank you, just set it down at the truck's pass." Merek whispered," Put Diablo's tea on his vehicle. Send our thanks to Bunny." Gus quietly weaved around Malificient and then put the chai tea on the roof of the hot rod, avoiding the avian's glazed stare.
" The green low slung vehicle, I surmise this is Commander Robertson's ?" Malificient showed it to Merek.
" It is, he is there." Merek replied, then added, " Orlando is there as well ! I shall like to introduce you to him, He is quite a remarkable man. I think you would enjoy his company."
" Good, then let's take our leave," She motioned to the staff, " Well done, Diablo. Return !"
