My cat wondering about all the big issues.

Brad Pitt under the apple tree. The apples are real and fresh.

Wishing you a wonderful 2018, dear Flickr Friends ♥

Ray is at his happiest when he has the big bed to himself: most of the time Kaiser gets there first.

Happy Furry Friday everyone.

Feeling back to full strength after the horrible effects of my last Covid jab

Another shot from the feral colony in the Forest.

We are hoping to visit Charlotte and the girls on Sunday. We were meant to go a few weeks ago but I was not well enough. We haven't seen them since August, so we are very excited.

We have a real cold wind blowing down from the North so all the cats are staying indoors at the moment

Happy Furry Friday everyone

Wishing you a happy, cosy and healthy weekend

Happy Furry Friday, dear Flickr Friends ♥

Brad Pitt enjoying the first Autumn sunbeam!

I love Autumn!

Britney & Brad Pitt saw someone new on the edge of the upper field.

It is so cold here at the moment, going down to below zero most nights. We have an open fire in the evenings which makes the house very cosy. All the cats try to find spots either next to the radiators or in front of the fire.

Thank you for all your kind wishes. I am glad to report I am nearly back to full strength.

Happy Furry Friday everyone

In Ambush series.

After the disappointment to find the Unsub (Unknown Subject), Britney continues searching a prey.

Alfie the ginger cat was finally located at a corner of the meadow, sitting on top of a hill while looking down at the valley with his trusty companions. It will probably take a while for Joey to find Alfie, as that magical place across the Rainbow Bridge is very vast.

In Cat Heaven, animals are able to communicate with one another. Alfie's native language happens to be Dutch as he was originally born and grew up in the Netherlands.

Alfie's image and likeness was derived from publicly available photos on Flickr and blended with AI to form this composite photo.

I put a couple of clean towels on the bed and walked away. When I came back I had two orange cats so I ran and grabbed the camera. Thanks everyone for viewing, faving and commenting on my images. Stay well and safe.

When I took this picture back in August it was just another boring picture of Mack. Now I look at this and already feel nostalgic for days when even the parking lot looked sunny and warm.

All the cats have been snuggling down during this cold spell. Apparently we have a storm passing our way on Sunday so we will all be hunkering down.

Happy Furry Friday

Wishing you all a safe and cosy weekend

This is just before he went to bed for the day. Same routine every day: he has his breakfast and then upstairs to sleep on our bed.

It is turning colder every day but then it is winter

Happy Furry Friday.

I was taking photos of Ray sitting next to the bed when Phill came along and gave his favourite boy a pat on the head. Ray and Phill are best buddies.

Kaiser was on the bed when Ray jumped up and decided he wanted to same place, You can see from Kaiser's expression how unhappy he was about the situation but refused to moved an just lay there sulking.

It has been so cold these past few days being below zero most of the time. Tomorrow is our final cold day before the temperatures rise again and bring with it rain just in time for Christmas - lol

Happy Furry Friday

Have a wonderful Wednesday, dear Flickr Friends ♥

During the heatwave Ray has spent his time in his 'summer house' which is an extension to his winter residence:-) This is airier and is covered in clematis The temperatures have now dropped but our homes are retaining the heat somewhat so it will take a while to get back to 'normal'. We are forecast rain today and I can't wait.

Phill and I are going to the cinema today. I read Where The Crawdads Sing and loved the book so I want to see what the scenery looks like in reality. It is set in North Carolina in the marshes. I used to love going to the cinema as a youngster and would go every week. But the last time we went was 2009 to see Avatar - lol. I cannot stand the noise of others chatting and rustling their sweets. See how grumpy I have become. Anyway, I found out that you get discount for seniors and also we are going to the matinee performance so, hopefully, there will be less people there to annoy me - ha ha ha.

Happy Furry Friday everyone.

Wishing you a weekend of calm

Britney wishes you a Happy Caturday in this mild winter!

It seems spring here in the north western Italy ☼

sitting on the knitting is a favorite pastime of mine

Ray crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. He had not been well for a while but then a tumour appeared in his mouth just before Christmas. The vet tried some treatment but sadly it got worse and so with lots of tears we knew it was time to say goodbye to our big old boy. He had a great long life with us (he was 17 years old). We will miss him dearly

Some mornings, Scooter decides that waiting for me to join him, is too much trouble. I'm not sure, nor am I ever really sure, what he's seen, but he didn't know I was there until I was close enough to touch. I know, he heard and smelled me approaching, so perhaps he was just being courteous in allowing me to get the photo. I never know that either.

Brad Pitt wishing you a very ginger day ;-)

I've been trying to upload this photo for two days and I did it with success today using the Flickr Old Uploadr

Our weather has certainly changed with temperatures dropping down by 10 degrees, which is what this time of year is meant to feel like. All the cats are trying to secure the cosiest spots and will be hunkering down now until Spring.

Happy Furry Friday everyone

It has been really sunny these past few days (today it poured!). Found Ray and Kaiser sitting chilling on the bench by the pond which is really unusual as Kaiser hates Ray being anywhere near him but I think he was just to comfortable to move when Ray jumped up

This was taken a few days ago when we had some blue skies and sunshine. We were at a friends' funeral yesterday and it was so cold and rainy, we all had coats on. Although it was sad to say goodbye to him, the actual funeral itself was so uplifting. It was a non religious service taken by a celebrant which is what I intend to have when the time comes

take that you pesky rascal

First morning water....

happy caturday from goose! 😸

I only met two cats on the street in Zürich and both were gingers. This one pretty much greeted me right off the train! But then, alas, was scared away by a dog being walked nearby. It's too bad...I was just in the middle of recording his life story and was up to year 4. A lot can happen in an outdoor cat's four years, let me tell you but we were just getting to the good part when he had a chance to ride a giraffe at the zoo one day. The giraffe saw his color and thought, "You might not be my baby but close enough!" Now, I'll never know how that ride went.
