It was the summer residence to the hereditary rulers of the Hunza state. Altit Fort (on top of the hill) and in particular the Shikari tower is around 1100 years old, which makes it the oldest monument in the Gilgit–Baltistan

We visited the master bedroom, the escape/panic room, the kitchen, etc and checked the beautiful standing natural rock and the great view from the balconies 😊
