Pearl's a "workin' girl"! Rita Crane, my wonderful Flickr friend, asked if Pearl could pose for a MacCallum House Inn Doggy Gift Basket ad. Carmen took this shot for me this a.m. Pearl has finally learned to sit straight up in the palm of my hand. I had to Photoshop my arm out of the photo.

This is also a redo, using Lightroom and Photoshop Express. I was walking around, grabbing shots of display windows on Melrose Avenue, not far west from where I used to live in West Hollywood. For this shot I placed the lens right up to the glass and took the photo. I kept the setting on the camera for Tungsten, though for this new version I warmed it up just a tiny bit on Lightroom, rather than going with the "boring white light" that I sometimes don't like to use for interior or night photos.

this is the mix tape pouch i made for a radtacular gift basket full of handmade, eco-friendly items. it's done almost entirely in relcaimed materials. the corduroy is from a pair of pants, the brown and blue bits are from the cut off pieces of too-long skirts, the lining is from a shirt, and even the zipper has been salvaged from another place.

I used two different prints to make this fabric bin. The main body of the bin is a cute and colorful print of cup cakes by Robert Kaufman. The upper part of the bin is accented in a bright pink with white polka dots print. Brown "rick rack" runs across the front of the basket. The inside is fully lined.
This basket is extra large and will hold many items. They make great organizers for closets, shelves and childrens rooms. They can also be used as a diaper holder in your babies nursery. Fill it up with anything you want. Handles are on both sides for easy lifting and carrying.
