This was the general store and a house on main street in the booming mining town of Rush Arkansas. Born from a mining rush in the late 1800's and inhabited until the 1960's the old town of Rush is now a state park. It's a very unique place with several old building to see as well as quite a few Zinc mines.

Ghost sign for Phillips & Sons, Brewers & Wine Merchants, Stables.

Thomas Phillips, previously from the Northampton Brewery, bought the brewery and thirteen tied pubs in 1874 from Thomas Lewis. It was sold to H & G Simond along with one hundred and twenty five pubs in 1949. The brewery closed down in 1968.
