Wikipedia reports: Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as "Upper Antelope Canyon" or "The Crack"; and "Lower Antelope Canyon" or "The Corkscrew." The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánílíní, which means 'the place where water runs through rocks'. Lower Antelope Canyon is Hazdistazí (called "Hasdestwazi" by the Navajo Parks and Recreation Department), or 'spiral rock arches'. Both are in the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation. The canyons are accessible by guided tour only."

Calico, a ghost town located in Yermo halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, was once a very productive silver mining town, home to over 3,000 people in the 1880s. The decline in silver prices killed the mines in 1896, and the town shriveled to nothing. Today's Calico is a 1950s reconstruction by Walter Knott (of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park) on top of the original building foundations, donated to the County of San Bernardino in 1967.
From the vista point on top of town, I am looking east toward the site of East Calico. Removed from the saloons and the brothels of the main section of town, East Calico was the "family-friendly" part of town, once hosting up to 85 homes. Today, the foundation of a single wall is all that remains of East Calico.

Ghosts are an apparent relation to glitches in space-time. A work shared between inking ghosts through thin paper, and glitching leftover imprints.

One of the coolest exhibits at the museum was a recreated ghost town. Nevada is full of such towns that suddenly sprung up around newly discovered mines, and were deserted just as quickly when the mines ran dry. This depicts what one of these towns may have looked in the 1940's, before looters and vandals ransacked the place. It was a very well done exhibit.
the ghost faces, the actual thing is these holes were made to hung something. I captured the photo and rotated 180degree.

This sign advertises the services of Burnet Ware & Graves Ltd who were established in 1882 & still occupy the nearby Survey House to this day.
