This picture best represents the word encouraged because I took it of ghandi, who led india and encouraged all of the people to be free. The vantage point of this picture is from the ground, its a lot lower because I wanted to show the size of the statue. The objective is Ghandis face. You can really see the texture of the statues face. I also really liked how the palm tree in the background emerges from ghandi’s forehead. The lines of the leaves of the palm tree all point right to his face so the eyes follow it

young woman who reminds me
of Gwen Stefani
with her high-hanging, long black
pony tail and her plaid, grey and
black pants, one suspender around
her shoulder, and her attitude,
the way she looks at the
crowd, confident and playful
and masterful on her red
violin, sometimes turning
her back to the crowd.
Young children climb on
the gazebo to watch,
blocking my view.
Four teenagers on roller blades
roll through the crowd and three
little girls in pink roller blades are
popping bubbles. Lots of them.
A man pushes a cart,
selling cotton candy.
A father and son are
playing badminton.
Young children run and jump
over a small pile of leaves.
I look behind me and see
people sitting on their motor
scooters in the street, listening.
That violin transforms these pop
songs into something allusive,
mystical, as if from a lush
green and expansive desert.
It's become dusk now and
I am able to put my finger
on one of these songs which
makes me even more joyful.

Daarbij was het de bedoeling om zoveel mogelijk punten en zo min mogelijk minpunten te scoren. Kortom: welke chauffeursteam heeft het beste zijn bus onder controle.
Op de foto zijn alle deelnemende teams te zien, die werden voorgesteld aan het massaal toegestroomde publiek.
