Getting ready to have a second jump to retrieve a ball in the K9 Aqua pool at the Norfolk Showground.
I've been going out every morning, waiting for a brood of baby Black-bellied Whistling Ducks to hatch and jump. I also saw a Hooded Merganser and at least one Wood Duck go in this box before the Whistling Ducks started incubating, so I am especially excited to see who jumps out of the box!
This morning I heard some noise next to me, and turned to see this big Gray Rat Snake on a dead snag a couple of feet away.
