This kind of Tortoise calls: Rùa Kim Tiền, Kim Tiền Quy, Cuora trifasciata, Three-lined box turtle, or Golden coin turtle.
The three-striped box turtle has a fairly small range through northern Vietnam. It lives in clear mountain streams and other sub-tropical to temperate, aquatic situations.
There is a lot of magic story about eating this kind of Turtle for magic cure. Consequense is it is a rare species now in Vietnam. Mostly, the hunter will export it to China where they make it become magic jelly. (I really doubt these "magic" words.)
This species needed to be protected by animal lovers.

She is just adopted. She loves to have soup and rice. Her name is Rice. She loves human's touching and she very demands for love.
She lived in a pagoda with her sister. Her Tri-Colored Sister was adopted by a Taiwanese 2 month ago. She is left and lonely in the pagoda meanwhile the other cats are one family, that's why there is loneliness in her telling eyes.
Puppy was shy. Soon he will be a smart genius dog.

It seems like ages since I took some Bournemouth beach shots!
I'm going to use this for this weeks flickr Friday theme "getting closer"..as I was getting closer I failed to notice the wave coming towards me, and nearly ended up soaked!!

I was about to turn to my right and head down the stairs to take the subway. My iPhone (I had been taking pictures non-stop) was on camera mode, landscape, in front of me. I almost bumped into the woman... and I snapped the shot. Lucky shot! The closest I've been yet on candid street photography.
And I want to dedicate this one to a dear friend and excellent street photographer, who inspires me and makes we want to get better and bolder. Here's to you, Mr. Gary Gumanow ...
