The Three Brothers is a rock formation, in Yosemite Valley, California. It is located just east of El Capitan and consists of Eagle Peak, and Middle and Lower Brothers

Just a Arizona road..facing west.

I spend so much time chasing cloudy sunsets.

Monsoon in Arizona

Sometimes you are on the road, sometime it is on you.

During the eclipse I took this photo. In Yosemite! what a place.

Yosemite has so much to offer the eyes.. Valley view has to be one of the best.

On a moon lit night in Yosemite,

This happened. Might be one to frame?

Canyonlands National Park boom

Climbing a rock face to catch this sunset/photo..I slipped and fell. My Nikon D800e now has a cracked outer cover. Thankfully it still worked. This shot is near Forest Lakes,AZ 7500ft above sea level. It is Rim country here.

when time affords me the opportunity to sit and wait for it. I do just that. My spoils are these photos. I get to see the world --one shadow cast at a time. I call that living.

I don't care--- what you do...I would want to be like you- Alan Parsons Project

This was a bad storm, as I was approaching Monument Valley..It got serious! Heavy WIND gust, lightning and MAJOR thunder!!

sometimes I think back to standing in Yosemite. I need to get back!

Soon to be 125 years old:

On October 1, 2015, the park will commemorate the 125th anniversary of the establishment of Yosemite National Park. President Benjamin Harrison signed the legislation, thereby creating the nation’s third National Park. The establishment of Yosemite National Park preserved over 1,500 square miles of land including Tuolumne Meadows, the park’s high country, Hetch Hetchy and lands surrounding Yosemite Valley.

If you have a bucket list or a strong desire to see beauty beyond words...travel here, leave not a trace, take only memories from it's boundaries they will last a lifetime.... YOSEMITE National Park!

Me and the BEAN... time and weather helped me get a shot that not one other person was around!

from my last road trip to New Mexico..What a treat it was

White Sands National Monument-New Mexico

The Slide fire which hit Sedona's Oak Creek Canyon area also affected this trail. The fire is 90% contained with 21,000+ Acres burned. Keep in mind that this area is in the top 20 places visited in the country! Photo was taken 2 days before the fire.......................... See more of my captures here: Facebook

~ BAM!

I have 25 favorite trees this is one of them.

the very few times I set out and get the results I seek.. This is exactly what I wanted. The Mesquite Flat Dunes in Death Valley at night and a meteor . New moon night no foot prints, just texture.

This is #arizona when the #monsoon hits

Luckily the storm was behind the mountain range....it was such a show that night. I drove 97 miles to meet this storm (pretty fast)

I could spend my whole life in this valley and still would never capture all the beauty. From Tunnel View as a winter storm releases its grip EL Cap comes into view #seetheworld #getoffthecouch

When you start descending into the earth in northern Arizona ...The view might overwhelm the mind. Page AZ

Yosemite life...you just have to go and do it for yourself.

my version of events

A great morning, I do recall.

Chasing the mist on the Yosemite Valley Floor.

Just outside Tucson,AZ

This monsoon storm was kicking and screaming...

will I ever get back here?

The legend of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine centers around the Superstition Mountains. According to the legend, a German immigrant named Jacob Waitz discovered a mother lode in the Superstition Wilderness and revealed its location on his deathbed in Phoenix in 1891 to Julia Thomas, a boarding-house owner who had taken care of him for many years. Several mines have been claimed to be the actual mine that Waitz discovered, but none of those claims have been verified- Wikipedia
