For the Collective 52 Photo Project 2014 - this week is "signs" so here's my sign.
Now, I know the Raiders suck a** and they're gonna suck even more this coming season but they are my team, have been since I was a little kid. Like a marriage, for better or worse, in victory or defeat..after defeat..after defeat.... Thankfully I'm old as dirt and can still remember when they were awesome! (a long, long time ago).

You know that feeling you sometimes get? The one that twists the pit of your stomach and haunts your senses and ripples through your thoughts urging you to turn away, go back, change directions?
You should listen to it.
Today I had that eery feeling and yet I took a hike up Skyline anyways only to take a tumble down the overlook, smashing my 50mm beyond repair and my mouth along the way. And I take Coumadin (blood thinners), so it was especially awesome. So here's the last 50mm I took before the spill and the last 50mm shot you'll be seeing from me for awhile. (But isn't the horrible facial expression perfectly suiting?)
And now that I've made you all feel extremely uncomfortable and awkward by bombarding you with the details of my personal life, I'm off to sulk. I'm sure I'll delete this post and my childish rant a bit later after I've had time to put the event in perspective.
i have no idea what inspired this shot. I got the idea in my head, and it was one of those nagging ones that has to be pulled off or it bugs the crap out of you. You know what i am talking about right?
So i attempted it yesterday, failed miserably, tried again today. I am pretty happy with the results, i KNOW my feet are cut off, it pisses me off, but i was not re shooting. I didn't want to get sick of it before i even PP'd it. lol.
Plus it was gross having an egg in my mouth.
cleaning and mopping, listening to imogen heap. daydreaming about fashion week and the vogue september issue. you?
"People should do art to make there souls grow." Kurt Vonnegut
The last book I read from start to finish was "Timequake" by Kurt Vonnegut. Well that was true until 10:32pm 10/7/15 when I finished reading "Your Never Weird on the Internet (almost) by Felicia Day.
Both books I will highly recommend to all I meet.
I could continue to draw comparisons and explore ideas that now occur to me but I will simply end with my most heart felt thanks to all of you who fallow my work!
Thank you so much!

Ever since he'd lost his job as head of graphic design at a prestigious vlog due to the last galactic pandemic in 2051 Dave had been an Amazon Intergalactic delivery driver. For the past 3 years it was literally the only job hiring in the entire galaxy. Now that the entire 10G pigeon fleet had been grounded too he'd been stuck inside his pressurised geodesic dome for the past 6 weeks with his Venusian wife and their brood of 12 telepathic hybrid children. Things were getting tense.
He watched helplessly in between online schooling whilst his hired van was repeatedly vandalised by taggerbots with nothing else to do and what he reckoned must be some kind of architectural detailing-bot that was clearly on the fritz. He didn't have enough money for air to be fooling around outside but also didn't have the money to get the van cleaned. He barely had enough to keep energon in the van's tank and the hyperdrive on it was already failing. He knew it. The kids knew it too...
I think I'm finally beginning the slow descent into madness for that's all I have. A tale of Dave and a digital collage based on a photo I took of a graffiti van and a photo I took of an architectural detail. Am I allowed out yet?
Cheers
