Yankee Tango lifts off runway 24R at Palma De Mallorca, the only 747 presence at the airport these days.

Lufthansa operated two "heavies " from Munich & Frankfurt, usually seen on long haul services to Palma de Mallorca to cater for the extra demand, much like the did in 2021.

For the last 20 years she was often to be seen in Dordrecht's city centry ( the
old harbour area) This picture was taken in front of Get Back- Dordrecht's finest
music store on Voorstaat 18 Dordrecht in Holland ( One of the city's best kept secrets).

Yankee Tango has just disembarked its thirsty tourists after a holiday on the island of Mallorca, only some stragglers left, always time for "just one more photo ". An amazing crew who were only too happy to please & take as many photos as possible, danke.

The We're Here! gang is celebrating The Beatles today. As luck would have it, I went to a concert tonight that was having a Beatles celebration of its own.
The group performed almost exclusively late-period Beatles (there were a couple of early Beatles numbers too). Their creative arrangements were just wonderful, and included folk, Celtic, blues, jazz, and classical elements. Their five-part harmonies were delightful, and Cam's long, extraordinarily intricate fiddle riffs were beyond impressive. LJ's vocals were outstanding. It's no wonder she is sometimes referred to as the "Canadian Bonnie Raitt". For me, her vocal skills tied with Cam's fiddling for best performance.

The Yankee Tango has just arrived into Palma De Mallorca, the start of the Easter holidays & the start of holiday in the sun, the doors are barely open as the hot humid 22 degrees gets everyone in the mood, the race is on down the steps & into the shuttle buses.
D-ABYT is sent to a remote stand, there is not suitable airbridge gate & apparently only two parking area's capable for the Queen. We do like remote stands, its great for photos.
