Schloss Linderhof ist eines der weniger bekannten Schlösser von König Ludwigs dem Zweiten. Es ist zudem das Kleinste und gehörte seinem Lieblingsschloss, indem er die auch die meiste Zeit verbrachte. Ausserdem war es das einzige Schloss das noch zu seinen Lebzeiten fertig gestellt wurde.
Schloss Linderhof is one of the lesser known castles of King Ludwig the Second. It is also the smallest and was his favorite castle by spending most of the time. In addition, it was the only castle that was completed during his lifetime.

Gadsisar Lake – Excavated in 1367 by Rawal Gadsi Singh, it is a scenic rainwater lake surrounded by small temples and shrines. Earlier, this lake was used to be the main water source of Jaisalmer. Plan for a camel ride, a picnic, and perhaps a short paddle-boat excursion, and bring some bread to feed the catfish.
The Revierpark Wischlingen is a green and recreational complex in the district Huckarde. It is located directly next to the Hallerey Nature Reserve and covers an area of 39 ha.
The park were created in the 1970s to offer recreation on the doorstep to the working population in the Ruhr area.
Schloss Charlottenburg (Charlottenburg Palace) is a Baroque palace in Berlin, located in Charlottenburg, a district of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf borough.
The palace was built at the end of the 17th century and was greatly expanded during the 18th century. It includes much lavish internal decoration in Baroque and Rococo styles. A large formal garden surrounded by woodland was added behind the palace, including a belvedere, a mausoleum, a theatre and a pavilion. During the Second World War, the palace was badly damaged but has since been reconstructed. The palace with its gardens is a major tourist attraction.

Dublin Castle (Irish: Caisleán Bhaile Átha Cliath) is a major Irish government complex, conference centre, and tourist attraction. It is located off Dame Street in Dublin, Ireland.
Until 1922 it was the seat of the British government's administration in Ireland. Most of the current construction dates from the 18th century, though a castle has stood on the site since the days of King John, the first Lord of Ireland. The Castle served as the seat of English, then later British, government of Ireland under the Lordship of Ireland (1171–1541), the Kingdom of Ireland (1541–1800), and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (1800–1922).
After the signing of the Anglo-Irish Treaty in December 1921, the complex was ceremonially handed over to the newly formed Provisional Government led by Michael Collins.
It now hosts the inauguration of each President of Ireland and various State receptions.
The castle was built by the dark pool ("Dubh Linn") which gave Dublin its name. This pool lies on the lower course of the River Poddle before its confluence with the River Liffey; when the castle was built, the Liffey was much wider, and the castle was effectively defended by both rivers. The Poddle today runs under the complex.
The Sky Road is scenic road in Clifden, the principal place of Connemara, starts and ends. From Clifden the street leads in western direction and soon one reaches to a road fork between the Lower Sky Road and Upper Sky Road. The upper way rises bit by bit and at the highest place one reaches a view parking bay. The look from here on top about the Clifden Bay and the offshore islands in the Atlantic is breathtaking.
Huis Bergh is a castle in 's-Heerenberg and is one of the largest castles in the Netherlands. It gives its name to the Land van den Bergh and was previously owned by the counts van Bergh.
The building history dates back to the 13th century. The main parts of the castle are from the 14th, 15th and 17th century. In the beginning of the Dutch Revolt the house got damaged by war. In 1735 the castle burned down. In 1912 Huis Bergh and all belongings became the property of Jan Herman van Heek, an industrialist from Enschede.He restored the buildings. In 1939 there was another major fire. Thanks to the help of locals most of the furniture was rescued. Renovation began the same year and was completed in 1941.
The name origin of Pelkum can be derived from the two syllables: the Old Saxon "Pel" means pole or palisade. "Kum" can be translated with home or homestead, which is also indicated by the old name "Pilicheim."
The first settlements over 1000 years ago were probably surrounded by trees or wooden stakes.
In Pelkum there is a memorial plaque and an honorary grave for those killed in the fighting of the Red Ruhr Army. It is said that the most violent battles took place there in 1920.
Pelkum was part of the Pelkum office in Hamm County when the offices were established in the Prussian Province of Westphalia. On the occasion of the outcropping of the city of Hamm on April 1, 1901, the district of Hamm was formed. After an expansion in 1929, it was renamed Unna County in October 1930.
Weak earthquakes regularly occur in the area of the Sundernrücken mountain range. On 14 January 2021 such an earthquake (magnitude 1.7 on the Richter scale) killed a goat in terror.

GERMANY, Tübingen- Bebenhausen Monastery , A partially triple wall belt (including the preserved towers and gates) surrounds the monastery complex, which still reflects the spirit of Cistercian room division. This is especially true for the enclosure area around the late Gothic cloister with church, dorment (dormitory), refectory (dining hall), chapter house, parlatorium and Bruderhalle.
The Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde (Dutch: Prinselijk Begijnhof Ten Wijngaerde) is the only preserved beguinage in the Belgian city of Bruges. There are no more Beguines living there, but since 1927 it has functioned as a convent for Benedictines, founded by canon Hoornaert. In the same year the houses at the west side were also reshaped and enlarged into the Monasterium De Wijngaard, a priory of Benedictine nuns.
The complex includes a gothic beguinage church and about thirty white painted houses dating from the late 16th, 17th and 18th century. Practically all of these are built around a central yard. The main entrance with gate can be reached via the three-arched stone bridge, the Wijngaard Bridge. In a bay the image of the holy Elizabeth of Hungary can be seen, who was the patron of many beguinages. De Wijngaard is also devoted to Saint Alexius. The entrance gate was built in 1776 by master mason Hendrik Bultynck. The first Beguine house next to the entrance is furnished as a museum and the exhibition includes paintings, 17th and 18th century furniture and lacework, among others. A second gate gives access to the Sas House, via the Sas Bridge.

Der Athenatempel zählt zu den relativ wenigen Bauten der griechischen Antike, deren Architekt namentlich überliefert ist. Nach Vitruv wurde er von Pytheos entworfen, der auch am Mausoleum von Halikarnassos mitarbeitete. Vitruv rühmte dabei die Tätigkeit am Athenatempel als vortrefflich.
Der Tempel war ein Peripteros mit 6 × 11 Säulen, die eine kleinasiatisch-ephesische Basis hatten. Unüblich für die ionische Ordnung erhielt der Naos einen Opisthodom.
Durch die Untersuchung der Bauornamentik wurden mehrere Bauphasen belegt, vom Beginn in der zweiten Hälfte des 4. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. bis zur Vollendung in der frühesten römischen Kaiserzeit, vermutlich noch unter Augustus.

Der Latona-Brunnen in den Gärten von Versailles wurde vom Architekten Hauptmann kopiert und im Garten von Schloss Herrenchiemsee aufgestellt. Herrenchiemsee ist die größte Insel des Chiemsees im südlichen Bayern. Der Brunnen stellt die mythische Geschichte der Göttin Latona dar. Zusammen mit ihren Kindern Diana und Apollo krönt sie als Mamorgestalt den Brunnen.
The Latona Fountain in the gardens of Versailles was copied by the architect Hauptmann and placed in the garden of Herrenchiemsee Palace. Herrenchiemsee is the largest island of Lake Chiemsee in southern Bavaria. The fountain represents the mythical story of the goddess Latona. Together with her children Diana and Apollo, she crowns the fountain as a marble figure.
Es haben sich in der Höhle mehr als 8000 Buddhastatuen angesammelt. Die ältesten stammen aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, und neue Votivgaben kommen bis heute hinzu. Wissenschaftler drängen auf die Aufnahme der Stätte in die UNESCO-Liste des Weltkulturerbes.

The Pindaya Caves are a Buddhist pilgrimage site and a tourist attraction located on a limestone ridge in the Myelat region. The area is part of the ancestral homeland of the Danu people. There are three caves on the ridge which runs north-south, but only the southern cave can be entered and explored. It is not known whether the other two penetrate for any extended distance into the hillside. Scholars have been pushing for the site's inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Oyster Island, with its distinctive lighthouse and five cottages, lies a short distance across the channel from Rosses Point. The Island derives its name from the profusion of oyster beds, which existed along its shores until the turn of the century. Oyster is separated from Coney Island by Shrunamile; the channel of a thousand currents, a most appropriate name because of its multitude of eddies with their peculiar whispering sound, which changes with the ebb and flow of the tide.
At the turn of the century, there were five families living on the Island, with the heads of these households listed as Lighthouse Keepers, but as the years rolled by the population dwindled.
Stitched PanoramaThe Registan was the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of the Timurid dynasty, now in Uzbekistan. The name Rēgistan means "Sandy place" or "desert" in Persian.
The Registan was a public square, where people gathered to hear royal proclamations, heralded by blasts on enormous copper pipes called dzharchis - and a place of public executions. It is framed by three madrasahs (Islamic schools) of distinctive Islamic architecture.
The three madrasahs of the Registan are: the Ulugh Beg Madrasah (1417–1420), the Tilya-Kori Madrasah (1646–1660) and the Sher-Dor Madrasah (1619–1636). Madrasah is an Arabic term meaning school.
The Silk Paper Factory at Konigil is located about 10 km from Samarkand, by the bank of River Siab.
Officially, it’s called the Meros Silk Paper Factory and is a family run unit. During our visit, we got to see the process of producing silk paper, it’s benefits (ie. Superior quality vis-à-vis regular paper) and also had a wide range of souvenirs to pick from at the shop.

MEXICO, Mayastätte Palenque
Palenque ist eine von Tieflanddschungel umgebene archäologische Fundstätte im mexikanischen Bundesstaat Chiapas unweit der modernen Stadt Palenque. In der archäologischen Zone von Palenque befinden sich die Ruinen einer ehemaligen Mayametropole, die seit 1987 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehören. Das in der Nähe der Grabungsstätte wohnende Volk der Lacandonen wird als direkter Nachkomme der ehemaligen Bewohner des alten Palenque betrachtet. Am 30. Tübingen Stocherkähne are punt boat which Poke on the Neckar in Tübingen by punting, here called, are moved. From the construction type it concerns a barge. They differ from the Venetian gondolas to which they are often compared radically by the symmetrical construction of the small boats and the kind of the locomotion
Originally Neckar fisherman drove with the Tübinger punt boat. However, punt boat driving has long been an integral part of the student culture of Tübingen.
In Tübingen there are 130 holder teeth, which are permitted on the Neckar. Most include student associations or student groups and specialties. Non-student associations and corporations now also have punt boat. Punt boat driving is also one of the city's tourist offerings.
Stocherkahnfahren is now commercially available by certified Stocherern, so that citizens and visitors of the city of Tübingen can also enjoy it.

Das Shwenandaw-Kloster (übersetzt: „Gold-Palast-Kloster“) ist ein buddhistisches Kloster in Mandalay .Das Kloster wurde 1782 in Amarapura aus Teakholz erbaut. König Mindon ließ es 1857 zerlegen und im Palast in Mandalay wieder aufbauen. König Thibaw veranlasste 1880 einen erneuten Umzug des Klosters in die Nähe des Atumashi-Klosters. Somit ist es der einzige Teil des Palastes von Mandalay, der dem verheerenden Feuer von 1945 nicht zum Opfer fiel.
Über steinerne Treppen betritt man die umlaufende Veranda des Klosters, das auf 150 riesigen Teakholz-Stämmen ruht. In der Tempelhalle steht zwischen den vergoldeten Säulen eine Nachbildung des Königsthrons. Die Außenflächen sind fast überall mit holzgeschnitzten Blüten, Nat-Gestalten und Jatakas bedeckt.
The Shwenandaw Monastery (translated: "Gold Palace Monastery") is a Buddhist monastery in Mandalay .The monastery was built in 1782 in Amarapura from teak wood. King Mindon had it dismantled in 1857 and rebuilt in the palace in Mandalay. King Thibaw arranged for the monastery to be moved again to the vicinity of Atumashi Monastery in 1880. Thus, it is the only part of the Mandalay Palace that did not fall victim to the devastating fire of 1945.
Stone steps lead to the circumferential veranda of the monastery, which rests on 150 huge teak logs. In the temple hall, a replica of the king's throne stands among the gilded columns. The exterior surfaces are covered almost everywhere with wood-carved flowers, nat figures and jatakas.
Fatehpur Sikri is a city and a municipal board in Agra district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The city was founded in 1569 by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585.
After his military victories over Chittor and Ranthambore, Akbar decided to shift his capital from Agra to a new location 37 km W.S.W on the Sikri ridge, to honor the Sufi saint Salim Chishti. Here he commenced the construction of a planned walled city which took the next fifteen years in planning and construction of a series of royal palaces, harem, courts, a mosque, private quarters and other utility buildings. He named the city, Fatehabad, with Fateh, a word of Arabic origin in Persian, meaning "victory." it was later called Fatehpur Sikri. It is at Fatehpur Sikri that the legends of Akbar and his famed courtiers, the nine jewels or Navaratnas, were born.
Fatehpur Sikri is one of the best preserved collections of Mughal architecture in India.
Leider gehören zur Nürnberger Geschichte auch verschiedene Monumentalbauten der Nazis, so auch die Kongresshalle. Gleichwohl die Bauten jährlich Unsummen an Kosten verschlingen, werden sie erhalten um auch den nachfolgenden Generationen ein Mahnmal zu sein, dass sich dieser Teil der deutschen Geschichte niemals wiederholen darf. Ein Dokumentationszentrum, dass unter anderem in diesem Gebäude untergebracht ist soll dazu beitragen und auch aufklären. Der Besuch der Ausstellungen steht auf dem Lehrplan aller Schulen.
Unfortunately, Nuremberg's history also includes various monumental Nazi buildings, including the Congress Hall. Although the buildings devour enormous sums of money every year, they are preserved as a reminder to future generations that this part of German history must never be repeated. A documentation center that is housed among other things in this building should contribute to this and also enlighten. Visiting the exhibitions is part of the curriculum of all schools.

Der Pagodenwald liegt westlich des Inle-Sees und ist über einen Kanal erreichbar. Die ältesten Grab-Stupas dieses Friedhofs stammen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert,[1] aber auch heute noch werden neue Stupas gebaut. Immer mehr alte Monumente sind inzwischen renoviert, und so hat sich ein buntes Gemisch aus Gold, Stuck und nacktem, manchmal bewachsenem Backstein entwickelt.
MYANMAR, Burma, on the edge of Inle Lake, rustic Buddhist pagoda forest with tomb stupas from Indein (Inthein,In-Dein).
The pagoda forest is west of Inle Lake and can be reached via a canal. The oldest tomb stupas in this cemetery date back to the 17th century[1] but new stupas are still being built today. More and more old monuments have now been renovated, resulting in a colorful mix of gold, stucco and bare, sometimes overgrown brick.

The Glatt Water Castle is located in the village of Glatt, a district of Sulz am Neckar in the valley of the Glatt, district Rottweil, Baden-Württemberg.
It is one of the oldest Renaissance castles in southern Germany and one of the few preserved water castles in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The castle has been municipal property since 1971 and was extensively renovated from 1973 to 1989.

The history of the church dates back to the 12th century, but the temple owes its present, Baroque appearance to reconstruction and extension in the 17th century.
The Tüshaus mill is a water mill near Dorsten-Deuten in North Rhine-Westphalia. The mill is located on the southern edge of the forest area of Üfter Mark, where the water of the Hammbach River from Rhade is stowed to the mill pond.
The history of the Tüshaus-Hof, to which the mill belongs, can be traced back to 1382. The lords of Lembeck, who held the water law in their territory, leased a whale mill driven by the water of the Hammbach in 1615 to a certain Mr. Tuschhaus.
However, the mill was not the first building on this site, as it was built on older foundations. Sheep were mainly kept in the extensive heathland surrounding the area. The wool was rolled in the Tüshaus mill by a hammer mill and sold as felt material to the region's cloth makers for further processing. The billing books include customers from Wesel, Recklinghausen, Westerholt, Dülmen, Münster and Dinxperlo.
The mill had already been increased in 1752 and expanded by a second mill wheel, so that since 1754 it also served the tenant Joan-Heinrich Tüshaus as an oil mill. The oil was obtained mainly from the rapeseed and linseed of the surrounding fields. In 1880 Albert Brosthaus was the Ölmüller, followed by Dumpe and Schetter. The old plants of the oil mill were replaced in 1914 by a modern hydraulic oil mill, which pressed the oil out of the seeds with 350 atü. The operation of the oil mill was discontinued around 1948 for economic reasons.

Der Bau der Uppatasanti-Pagode begann am 12. November 2006 mit der Pfahlzeremonie und wurde im März 2009 unter der Leitung von Than Shwe , dem Leiter des regierenden staatlichen Friedens- und Entwicklungsrates in Birma, abgeschlossen . Die Einladungskarte für die Pfahlzeremonie wurde mit dem Satz "Rajahtani Naypyidaw" (die königliche Hauptstadt, in der der Präsident wohnt) eröffnet. Die Pagode ist 30 cm kürzer als die Shwedagon-Pagode .

Uppātasanti Pagoda ; also called the "Peace Pagoda is a prominent landmark in Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar. The pagoda houses a Buddha tooth relic from China. It is nearly a same-sized replica of Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon and stands 99 metres (325 ft) tall.
