This is for the Happy Caturday theme "Happiness is ...". For Charlie Brown happiness is to discover something new and exciting, like the wrapping paper at my niece's birthday in March. It sparkled, it made interesting noises and offered lots of entertainment, what more can you ask for.

Another experiment with fairy lights - I couldn't help it ;))
[glitter wrapping paper, fairy lights, light tent, day light and additional lighting with a reading lamp ... and a bit playing around with Nik Collection (Analog Efex)]
The little reflections of the fairy lights on the glitter made me think of stardust when taking the photo ... no additional or artificial bokeh / sparkles - it's all natural :))
For those interested: the shell is 3.5 cm in diameter

Ein weiteres Experiment mit Lichterketten - ich konnte nicht anders (sie waren noch im Lichtzelt vom Experiment der letzten Woche) ;))
[Glitter-Geschenkpapier, Lichterketten, Lichtzelt, Tageslicht und zusätzliche Beleuchtung mit einer Leselampe ... und ein bisschen Herumspielen mit Nik Collection (Analog Efex)]
Die kleinen Reflexionen der Lichterketten auf dem Glitterpapier ließen mich beim Fotografieren an Sternenstaub denken :))

Isn't she a regal beauty with her big eyes, tiny nose, and dainty smile? Let me introduce you to Her Majesty Carrot-Anne MMXVII., Queen of the Vegetable Patch.
Strictly speaking, the term Queen Anne's Lace refers to the blooming part of the (wild) carrot, and we've seen a few beautiful captures of that part today, while our domestic carrot is a subspecies - Queen Anne's Lace is, so to say, the queen mother ;-). The blossom of the domestic carrot, however, is very similar to that of the wild carrot, and the humble taproot we harvest and eat is part of the same plant, so I thought it's OK to shoot a carrot for the "Queen" theme. I did not even have to pay for this characterful root vegetable; when the marketer at the saturday weekly market saw it, he said, "Oh, just take it" ;-) The background is a glittering foam craft sheet which I found at the art and crafts shop.

7DWF, Monday: Free theme
Ist sie nicht eine wahre königliche Schönheit mit ihren großen Augen, dem kleinen Näschen und dem feinen Lächeln? Darf ich vorstellen: Ihre Majestät Carrot-Anne MMXVII., Königin des Gemüsebeets.
Bei meiner Suche nach Ideen für das "Queen"-Thema stieß ich auf den Begriff "Queen Anne's Lace", der mich zur Karotte führte. Der Begriff bezieht sich auf die Blüte der (wilden) Möhre (einige hübsche Fotos haben wir ja heute schon gesehen), der Stamm- und damit quasi Königinmutter unserer Gartenmöhre / Karotte. Und weil Karotten ebenso blühen wie ihre wilden Verwandten und die Wurzel Teil ein und derselbe Pflanze ist, dachte ich, "Nehm' ich halt 'ne Mohrrübe". Ich musste sie noch nicht mal bezahlen, als der Markthändler mich mit dem charaktervollen Rübchen ankommen sah, meinte er nur "Nimm mal so mit" ;-). Erst wollte ich das Krönchen aus Fimo basteln, habe mich dann aber doch für Geschenkpapier entschieden. Der Hintergrund ist Glitzer(!)-Moosgummi, das ich zufällig im Bastelgeschäft entdeckt habe. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass es von Moosgummi eine Glitzervariante gibt - oder dass Karotten blühen ;-)

Ich habe mal wieder meine Regenbogen Folie (irrisierend) rausgeholt und bin damit dann in die Natur gegangen. Ich liebe diese Ergebnisse sehr! Eigentlich Geschenkpapier als Filter missbraucht.
I got my rainbow foil (iridescent) out again and then went into nature with it. I really love these results! Actually misused wrapping paper as a filter.
