Tonight was my oldest sons graduation and the venue they held it in is a large church building. This is one of the more interesting features of the place. I haven't shared any of the actual graduation as the shots weren't great (thye were nice for momentos and snapshots but not great photogrpahy) but I did like how this particular shot turned out.
Nurturing Naturalists
We Joined the Virginia Aquarium for a one-hour nature play sessions with Virginia Aquarium educators to help build family confidence to take nature outings and foster a love of nature in children. Explore the marsh and shallow water of Owls Creek to look for crabs and other critter; Play by the pond and look for turtles, frogs, and tadpoles; Pretend to be a Native American and search the woods for materials to make tools and a home. This is a family program, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The recommended age for participating children is 4-10 years old, but anyone under 12 is welcome. Because this is a family program, adults will be actively participating in the activities with their children. The sessions are included with admission. Walk-ups on the day of the program will be accommodated if space is still available.
