competing with each other, improve their skills in the portrait genre from year to year.
Drawing a portrait is both a show and an attraction and art at the same time. Here the artist must have the knowledge, vast experience, patience, hard work and of course talent in order to solve many creative tasks in extreme conditions in a short time. A portrait painter who paints on the street must choose an appropriate angle for this model taking into account the lighting at a certain time of day and, having achieved an absolute external similarity of the drawing to the original, try to convey the mood, character and inner world of the person. Plus, a self-respecting artist must take care that the portrait drawing looks like a finished work of art.
This was on the day I visited the Park at Gleisdreieck, which is an amazing place and as I have probably said before, it's an absolute treasure trove of photo opportunities everywhere you look in every genre you can imagine! As I let slip there, this wasn't at midnight but with the Aperture set higher for sharpness and the Shutter Speed to 1/500 this sufficiently darkened the image and with the additional WB "Incandescent" gave a beautiful nighttime cinematic feel.
I used the Nikkor 55-200mm VR1 for this shit with the VR activated. I hope you like it!

La Danza de la muerte o Danza macabra es un género artístico tardo-medieval cuyo tema era la universalidad de la muerte. Se trata de un diálogo en verso y por tanto representable, en que una personificación alegórica de la Muerte, como un esqueleto humano, llama a personas de distinta posición social o en diferentes etapas en la vida para bailar alrededor de una tumba. Típicamente estas figuras eran el Papa, el Obispo, el Emperador, el Sacristán, el Labrador, etc. La muerte les recuerda que los goces mundanos tienen su fin y que todos han de morir. Se cree que las danzas macabras eran de hecho bailadas y representadas teatralmente en el siglo XIV.
The Dance of Death or Dance Macabre is a late-medieval artistic genre whose theme was the universality of death. It is a dialogue in verse and therefore representable, in which an allegorical personification of Death, like a human skeleton, calls people from different social positions or at different stages in life to dance around a grave. Typically these figures were the Pope, the Bishop, the Emperor, the Sacristan, the Labrador, etc. Death reminds them that worldly joys have an end and that all must die. It is believed that the macabre dances were in fact danced and performed theatrically in the 14th century.

Es tracta d'un diàleg en vers i per tant representable, en què una personificació al·legòrica de la Mort, com un esquelet humà, crida a persones de diferent posició social o en diferents etapes en la vida per ballar al voltant d'una tomba. Cyathus est un genre de champignons de la famille des Agaricaceae
une famille dont la ressemblance à de petits nids d'oiseaux remplis d’œufs est importante. Ce sont en fait des structures de reproduction contenant des spores. Les « œufs », ou péridioles, sont fermement attachés à la surface interne de l'organe de fructification par un cordon élastique connu comme un funicule. Les 45 espèces sont largement distribués à travers le monde et certaines se retrouvent dans la plupart des pays, alors que d'autres existent seulement dans un ou deux endroits. Cyathus stercoreus est considéré comme en danger dans un certain nombre de pays européens. Cyathus is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae
a family whose resemblance to small bird nests filled with eggs is important. They are actually reproductive structures containing spores. The "eggs", or peridioles, are firmly attached to the inner surface of the fruiting body by an elastic cord known as a funicle. The 45 species are widely distributed across the world and some are found in most countries, while others only exist in one or two locations. Cyathus stercoreus is considered endangered in a number of European countries. Some species of Cyathus also resemble popped cups, as falling raindrops can strike the peridioles and eject them out of the cup. The inner and outer surfaces of this cup may be longitudinally streaked which is an example of a taxonomic feature that is traditionally used to distinguish species. Generally considered inedible, Cyathus are saprophytes, as they obtain the nutrients they need from the decomposition of organic matter. They typically grow on rotting wood or woody debris, on cow dung and horse manure, or directly on humus-rich soil. The life cycle of this genus allows it to reproduce sexually, by meiosis, and asexually, by spores. Several species produce bioactive compounds, some of which have medicinal properties, and several lignin-degrading enzymes may be useful in bioremediation and agriculture. Phylogenetic analysis offers new insights into the evolutionary relationships between different Cyathus species and has cast doubt on the validity of older classification systems that are based on characteristics.

Taken from the Lower Falls, the colours are spectacular. They come from the numerous hot springs leaching minerals such as sulfer onto the cliff walls. Rising steam betrays the presence of a hot spring on the lower left.

Ce soir je vous présente un petit oiseau qui bouge 2 à 3 fois plus que nos Grimpereaux brun. Sans plus d'éclats et anonyme dans son environnement, mesurant 11cm / 4.5 pouce pas vraiment plus gros qu'un oiseau mouche. Je l'avais observé l'année passée mais pas vraiment bien capté pour le présenter comme un Lifer... J'ai je crois eu la chance de capter les deux espèce le même soir et dans le Golden Hours... Les voici.

Tonight I present you a little bird that moves 2 to 3 times more than our Brown Creepers. Without being so obvious in is environment and blending in perfectly, measuring 11cm / 4.5 inch not really bigger than a hummingbird. I had seen it last year but not really made a good captured to present it as a Lifer ... I think I had the chance to capture both species the same evening and in the Golden Hours ... Here they are.

The American bushtit inhabits mixed open woodlands, often containing oaks and a scrubby chaparral understory ; it also inhabits parks and gardens. It is a year-round resident of the western United States and highland parts of Mexico, ranging from Vancouver through the Great Basin and the lowlands and foothills of California to southern Mexico and Guatemala.
The American bushtit is one of the smallest passerines in North America, at 11 cm (4.3 in) in length and 5–6 g (0.18–0.21 oz) in weight. It is gray-brown overall, with a large head, a short neck, a long tail, and a short stubby bill. The male has dark eyes and the adult female, yellow. Coastal forms have a brown "cap" while those in the interior have brown "mask."
The American bushtit is active and gregarious, foraging for small insects and spiders in mixed-species feeding flocks containing species such as chickadees and warblers, of 10 to over 40 individuals. Members of the group constantly make contact calls to each other that can be described as a short spit.
This species produces an elaborate pendant nest of moss and lichen assembled with spider silk and lined with feathers.

This is the same shop as this: flic.kr/p/2hiHxHj so I suppose this is the cat in question. It didn’t look too scared to me, and was getting plenty of attention.
Est une espèce d'oiseaux appartenant à la famille des Fringillidae. C'est l'espèce la plus nordique du genre Fringilla et la seule qui soit monotypique. Cette espèce mesure 15 à 16 cm de longueur. Le bec conique est noir ou jaunâtre à pointe noire. Les pattes présentent une coloration rose chair.
En plumage nuptial, le mâle arbore un plumage très contrasté comportant du noir, de l'orange et du blanc. La tête, la nuque et le haut du dos sont noir brillant mais quelques petites plumes blanchâtres peuvent persister au printemps. Le bas du dos présente un aspect écailleux car ses plumes noires sont bordées de roussâtre. La gorge, le haut de la poitrine et les épaules sont orangées. Les parties inférieures sont blanchâtres. Tara loves ethnic music and recently discovered a new amazing musical group in ETHNO FUSION style named NAMGAR, with lead singer Namgar Lkhasaranova. Namgar (Tibetan "White Cloud") performs traditional music and songs of the Buryats and Mongols, as well as their interpretations of ancient folklore, using national musical instruments and outfits styles.
With much respect, Tara created a Tribute to singer Namgar and her musical heritage, taking as inspiration the album cover Nayan Navaa - the Land of our Ancestors. The land from which we came, a beautiful world. Our ancestors gave us an unambiguous explanation that in ancient times, our people lived in a very distant and beautiful southern land, which was called Naya Navaa (Nai Nava). This song was born after the people had left their land.

I made photos related to "street photography";
I photographed people who, for the most part, I had never met before, I thank them for their sympathy and availability;
I tried to capture the essence of minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently, in retrospect, in the post-production.

ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography”;
ho fotografato persone che, per la maggior parte, non avevo mai incontrato prima, le ringrazio per la loro simpatia e disponibilità;
ho cercato di cogliere al volo l’essenza di storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.

The volcano Etna, in recent days has shown an intense eruptive activity, even with intense phenomena called "lava fountains", continuous jet emissions persisted intensely for many minutes, of very high "fountains" of incandescent magma, very spectacular and uncommon, in particular, which took place on 23-02 at night, it reached exceptional dimensions and heights; I photographed that spectacular eruptions using a telephoto lens, from Taormina; I photographed Jakub Rizman, an excellent harp player, who spread sweet notes throughout the main square of Taormina, creating a fairytale atmosphere (on YouTube I found some musical performances of him);
these are just a few minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...

il vulcano Etna, nei giorni scorsi ha mostrato una intensa attività eruttiva, anche con intensi fenomeni chiamati "fontane di lava", emissioni a getto continuo perdurate intensamente per molti minuti, di altissime "fontane" di magma incandescente, molto spettacolari e non comuni, una in particolare, avvenuta il 23-02 di notte, ha raggiunto dimensioni e altezze eccezionali; ho fotografato da Taormina quelle spettacolari eruzioni, usando un teleobiettivo; ho fotografato Jakub Rizman, un eccellente suonatore d'arpa, che ha diffuso dolcissime note per tutta la piazza principale di Taormina, creando un'atmosfera da favola (su YouTube ho trovato alcune sue esibizioni musicali);
sono queste solo alcune storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
