Pre Y2K home remodeling. I'd like to think my parents were just being cautious for other reasons and not really afraid of Y2K. Either way we (my brother and I) put this panel in to allow the key electrical systems to be switched over to generator power.
Around this same time we also redid the power feed to the garage in a new pvc conduit run.

The generators will keep the bottle sorting and crushing machines operational during power cuts.

A visual mixing tool to create and print your individual future on demand.

The FUTURE GENERATOR is a visual mixing tool implementing certain parameters to predict the future. It has been used to produce the visual communication for the design symposium "MULTIPLY FUTURES – About possible and impossible future scenarios" at the Art University Linz. While the color is based on whether the future might be utopian or dystopian, the position of the typography corresponds with the political system, the choice of font reflects the technological aspect and the complexity of the graphics in the background respond to the choice of network. Depending on whether we imagine a society focusing on the individual or community the speakers on the poster are being presented more dominantly or fade into the background.

This shows the insulation that began to melt inside the roof of the unit. just the surface of the insulation is melted. the insulation is nearly the original thickness but a sticky residue remains.
notice its the same generator car used for the cp Olympic spirit train that toured back in october since it still has the mural on it ( at least there was no protesters this time)
