Mom and daughter ( I guess) dressed in medieval clothing during the Hanzefeest in Doesburg. Hanzefeest is an annual medieval theme festival in this town.
A small jolly around its former stomping ground sees preserved Mercedes-Benz Citaro MB51 (CB51 BUS) in Beaconsfield Old Town, in front of newer Carousel 80885 (VO17 EOB).
It would be great to get a photo of all 4 generations of Citaro available in the UK.
An early Generation 2 and a Generation 1 (1969 model) Camaros were parked side by side. Both are shown with Rally Sport packages.
Beneath a canopy of overhead power wires and catenary, two of New Jersey Transit's E60CH electrics hang out in the South Amboy motor storage yard on the morning of 10 July 1985: No. 973 in an Amtrak patch job and No. 960 already repainted into NJT platinum mist. The secondhand rectifiers replaced aging GG-1 electrics and provided a stopgap solution to NJT's electric power needs for a few years, before themselves being supplanted by the next generation of AC propulsion. In the background, standing as a reminder of the steam era when PRR K4 Pacifics roamed the shore, is the old water tower.

Isn't it funny how the Boxster looks bigger than the 993? Or... just how much the classic 911 silhouette has grown?
A friend picked up his 993 Carrera S after a new coat of paint and some livery. She's done up in one shade of many greys, and if you've seen my previous car, you'll know I'm a big fan of grey. Had a quick go in the 993; 4-speed Tiptronic with 285hp/350Nm, heavy steering, and uprated brakes that squeal and bite hard. Mmm...

Gentlemen gathered to celebrate 69 years since graduation. Lots of emotions, stories, desire for life. This is their story.
Sorry it’s been a couple of days! College has kept me pretty busy. One of my classes takes 5 hours, and that’s without including homework!
Anyway, here are the Gen 4 Pokémon starters. I quite like the designs of these guys and I think they’re some of the coolest starter Pokémon.
Torterra is easily the best grass starter and is based on an old Indian legend that the earth is actually on the shell of a giant turtle.
Infernape is based on Goku, so that automatically makes him awesome. And
Empoleon is based on an emperor penguin, an icebreaker ship, and Napoleon Bonaparte, so that’s really creative!
Well that’s all for now!
-Totally Awesome
A photo of my late Grandfather Bernard Hirons (my Mom's Dad) holding my newborn son Peter back in May 1993. Grandad was 82 at the time. Now Pete & his girlfriend have made me a very proud Grandmother, they welcomed a baby girl into the world last night, 19th Dec, on what would have been her Great Great Grandfather's 106th birthday.

Following on from yesterday's photo of the eggs on a Nettle leaf (see photo in first comment below) these are the newly hatched Small Tortoiseshell butterfly caterpillars. You can see their tent-like web covered in droppings in top left of the image. A Common Red Soldier beetle is handy as a size reference. HBW & Happy Webnesday!
With three different generations of AlCo's as motive power as well as two different states (NSW & SA), 8037, 4477 and 872 certainly make a ruckus leading 2SM7 Qube containerised cement from Minto to Vic Dock, under the Hume Highway at Yanderra.
Upon arrival at Junee the locos would be swapped out for a QBX and presumably return to service on the Harefield shuttle.
If you've looked at train pictures taken in outstate Minnesota over the last 15+ years and aren't familiar with the names Vandenberg and Kaden, honestly, where have you been? If you've enjoyed any of the pictures taken by those bozos, you'll be happy to know that the next generation is well on their way to taking up the mantle of railroad photography in the area. My daughter and Mike's son combined forces for the first time on our recent trip to the BNSF's large bridge near Luverne, ND. It was a surreal experience to see them enjoying taking pictures of trains at a place that has meant so much to us over the years.
