The iconic West Springfield Generating Station, located along Rt. 5 in West Springfield, MA. Once a coal fired power plant, it now burns natural gas but also receives heavy oil by truck. The center cab switcher they have on hand is now used for miscellaneous duties, such as moving turbines and equipment within the plant property.
