After a haircut, time for family shots. He was not really convinced about the shooting, but some captures turned out very nicely.

I never see mocs of the wheel bike and I am starting to figure out why. This is still a work in progress as it still needs the legs, gun, and internal structure
Point-and-shoot camera, lit by LED light on mobile phone, free hand, SOOC except for a tiny bit of denoising.
I received a cool Lego Star Wars advent calendar from my sister for my birthday. That was about a month ago and needless to say I didn’t wait for the first of December to open it. I’ve opened about one a day since.
Here’s all the figures and space ships laid out. Several of the space ships I have no idea about but then I only remember three original Star Wars movies.
Even shooting at F8 I still didn’t get the DoF wide enough for proper focus.
General Grievous
Designed by me, folded by me..Q
Test fold out of copy paper from a square about 28cm
Like the colour and the thickness of the paper as it works well with the mask style of folding but splitting and ripping..I need to get some good paper if I am going to fold this properly
In the end I rolled the 'ears' back over and used the back to make the side flaps
Next up will be folding Boga head..the creature Obi Wan rode in Ep III Revenge of the Sith made with the infamous double waterbomb base I used to make Witchking
My son, Ryan, who is 11 years old, loves Legos. He has made two stop-action movies using Lego mini-figures. He set up the little point and shoot camera on the tripod, and painstakingly shot one picture at a time, stopping in between shots to reposition the figures. Then my husband helped him add music and sound effects. If you'd like to see his two movies, here's the link (they were too big to put on Flickr):

June 27 is Happy Birthday To You Day! It was on this day back in 1859 that Mildred J. Hill and her sister Patty Smith Hill composed one of the most well known songs around the world; Happy Birthday To You.
Looks like our lone Trooper is trying to make peace with General Grievous by wishing him a very Happy Birthday, whenever it may have been. Either that or he has just brought a Candlestick to a Lightsaber Fight!
This is a follow up shot to Never Bring a Sword to a Lightsaber Fight.
Enjoy!

This is my own representation of Seperatist General of droid army. I just wanted to make him bigger than original figure and of course more possible. I did not wanted to include OG LEGO head and make my own.
While searching for General Grievous on a distant planet, Rex encounters a deserter.
General Obi-Wan and his clone force pin-point Grievous who has just met up with a squad of Droid reinforcements. A shuttle arrives to pick up the General as the AT-TE guns overheat and Obi-Wan realises that he will have to stop the General personally. He nearly cuts down Grievous but a nearby Droid faithfully warns his General. The two duel but Grievous manages to escape by grappling onto the shuttle flying overhead. The Droids were defeated but the battle could hardly be thought of as a victory.
Star Wars Lego 75040 General Grievous' Wheel Bike was released in 2014.
