Just a little General Grievous MOC I whipped up a while back. It was posted on FBTB (inspired by pfArt), and I received a custom cape from MMCB to top it all off.

In "flight mode" with front cannons elevated.

I also welcome requests! I love new ideas and if you have a character that you would like to see in poster form, please let me know! If it isn't a Star Wars character, don't let that stop you; send me a message and if I have seen the film/ TV show or know enough about the character, I would be happy to make a poster for you.

Day 83/365

All he wanted for his birthday was General Grievous from Star Wars. And of course it was VERY hard to find. We went to store after store for about the last month looking for this guy. Finally the day before his birthday my Hubby called me and said he found one! And it was all worth it for this look when he opened it up!

My first attempt at pixel art.

Inspired by LEGO Star Wars General Grievous (10186) we tried to MOC one on our own. We designed a lightbrick core which lights up by pressing the transparent dome.

So even though I had only planned on attending the Con on Sunday I found myself there today as well, we had a great time, saw some friends and just enjoyed taking in the spectacle. I can't believe we are doing it again tomorrow, I'm Beat!

Even General Grievous stopped by the Her Universe booth during Chicago Comic-Con. Ashley barely escaped with her life!

As in my last post I also compared the height of the starfighter with a battle droid. The ship rests inclined as seen in 2005’s Battlefront II and in Revenge of the Sith. The engines have a little level of forward inclination so the build is not flat bricked. The inclination and the landing gear provide the right angle of landing posing.

There were apparently a bunch of celebs at the party, including Nathan Fillion, Geoff Johns, Rachael Leigh Cook, and others, but I didn't see any of them when I got there. Just a lot of hipsters, skater nerds, emo kids, etc. Not a bad crowd, but I felt more than a little old and out of place. ;) I wasn't the oldest guy there by a long shot, thank God.

GG can do it all, it seems... at least before he gets chopped up and fried...

Welcome to Wheel 101.

I forget his name, but he's awesome.

Mist and Patches picking a fight with General Grievous. Ever since they "made" their own lightsabers, (well, Mist "made" them both, meaning he found them in my office desk, but I don't let the other dunnys know, he's the bad arse of the group for a reason!) they've been coming after Grievous every night while the Jedi Mighty Muggs meditate. I don't have the heart to clue them in on the fact that these are plastic weapons... You know, I'm fairly certain that Patches is a peaceful dunny, but Mist is just such an instigator... All the other dunnys play in their Playmobil Mansion while this goes on, but I always hear the charge of the lightsaber from the office around 8:30 every night... I almost feel bad for Grievous having to put up with this nonsense, although I've yet to see him back down. Yoda usually breaks this up around 9:30, but this went on till 10 tonight as the Jedi Mighty Muggs were "Feeling the Force" most unusually tonight... Little does Mist know, he's got some competition coming for his "Resident Bad Arse Dunny" spot from eBay... (more to come on that!) (...)

General Grievous is a fictional character, part of the Star Wars canon. He is a chief antagonist in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

His arms snap together at the forearm and the wrists. This is a great and effective solution to a problem that plagues this character.
