RAAF F-111 A8-126 CN. D1-07. The "Pig" coming in very low and very fast, buzzing the rooftops and catching some of the the spectators off guard at Indy Fever 2005 Gold Coast Australia. One of my favourite F-111 shots!

With her huge 122 foot wing-span prominent in this view, NASA's General Dynamics/Martin WB-57F N928NA caught arriving in near darkness into RAF Mildenhall back in 2005
Originally a Martin-built B-57 52-1536 and re-built by General Dynamics and re-serialed as 63-13298.
We waited and waited until finally she appeared with that strange whirring sound from her Turbo-Fan engines, landing at 18:15 that mid October evening - hence the poor light - though if I'd had a wet film camera - this image would be black!

Willard Martin (b. 1917) held various jobs before he was hired by Convair San Diego as a metal worker. For the next 30 years, Martin worked at Convair, eventually serving much of his career as the Operations General Supervisor, a task that involved supervising experiment department operations, engineering test lap support, model shop operations, mockup and wind tunnel support. In addition, he managed all instrumentation fabrication, installation and field support operations for the Cruise Missile Program and others. In 1976, he was elected by members of the National Management Association, General Dynamics Convair Chapter, as Director of Public Relations from 1976 to 1977.

An old Belgian F-16A of 349th smaldeel (squadron) 'Goedendag' at Beauvechain. A 'goedendag' (good day) was a spiked staff, a typical Flemish weapon. However, the weapons pictured in the squadron emblem are mornings stars.
FA10 was scrapped.
