Back in 1979 the Norwegians were among the first outside the US to buy the F-16. Now in 2021 they are the first to retire them completely. F-35s will take their place. I will miss them...

The first Belgian F-16A (FA01) landing at Florennes. Completely clean and without squadron markings.
FA01 is preserved now in the army museum (Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History) in Brussels.
