They always come for the wild ones

They always come for the freaks

I don't fit quite like they like it and now they've come for me

They always wanna change me

They wanna make me weak

I don't keep quiet like they like it and now they've come for me

An easy target, an easy mark

But how you think I got this far?

I'll turn to face you

Then I'll erase you

Before I do

I'll take this moment like I own it

Ain't seen the last of me

'Cause I will be the last one standing

Walk through the fire, it takes me higher

Ain't seen the last of me

'Cause I will be the last one standing

I won’t let you kill me

Not like you could

They say you only die one time and Imma make mine good

You think you got me cornered

But here's what you don’t know

You didn’t get the best of me

I saved that for myself

Be you.

The Adventure

The Incubus walked the abandoned corridors of the forgotten mines in The Faewylds, their magic calling out to the new travelers who scaled the mountains above the intricate weave of tunnels. Honey smiled.

‘Come new ones, give me your nightmares, and let me be your daydream’ they said to themself with a chuckle.

See if you can find the elusive Incubus in The Faewylds: Froggiebottomes!

i've used this piano before...i knew the dining room/kitchen it's in always turns out 'muddy' pictures so i'd taken spot lamps to play around with lighting which in the end didn't work for me...Nurse Doo had shown me how to play around with the intensity of my onboard flash which is what i did...ok so i have a lot the learn about lighting but i'm not too unhappy with my first baby steps.

The Piano Man : Billy Joel

Its nine oclock on a saturday

The regular crowd shuffles in

Theres an old man sitting next to me

Makin love to his tonic and gin

He says, son, can you play me a memory?

Im not really sure how it goes

But its sad and its sweet and I knew it complete

When I wore a younger mans clothes

La la la, de de da

La la, de de da da da

Sing us a song, youre the piano man

Sing us a song tonight

Well, were all in the mood for a melody

And youve got us feelin alright

Now john at the bar is a friend of mine

He gets me my drinks for free

And hes quick with a joke or to light up your smoke

But theres someplace that hed rather be

He says, bill, I believe this is killing me.

As the smile ran away from his face

Well Im sure that I could be a movie star

If I could get out of this place

Oh, la la la, de de da

La la, de de da da da

Now paul is a real estate novelist

Who never had time for a wife

And hes talkin with davy whos still in the navy

And probably will be for life

And the waitress is practicing politics

As the businessmen slowly get stoned

Yes, theyre sharing a drink they call loneliness

But its better than drinkin alone

Sing us a song, youre the piano man

Sing us a song tonight

Well, were all in the mood for a melody

And youve got us feelin alright

Its a pretty good crowd for a saturday

And the manager gives me a smile

cause he knows that its me theyve been comin to see

To forget about life for a while

And the piano, it sounds like a carnival

And the microphone smells like a beer

And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar

And say, man, what are you doin here?

Oh, la la la, de de da

La la, de de da da da

Wigstock 2004 in Tompkins Square Park in the East Village of New York City as part of The Howl Festival.

Wigstock started in 1984 , Drag Queens from the Pyramid Club headed over to Tompkins Square Park, including Brian Butterick, Michael "Kitty" Ullman, Wendy Wild, The "Lady" Bunny and a few members of the Fleshtones were horsing around in the bandshell when someone came up with the idea of a day-long drag festival - and calling it Wigstock. It was Lady Bunny went ahead and getting the necessary permits and Wigstock was born. Wigstock moved to Pier 54 after becoming such a large event that it could no longer be held in Tompkins Square Park, in 2004 Wigstock returned to the East Viallge as part of the annual Howl Festival.

From the roots of his hair to the bottom of his chin is 1/10 of a man's height; from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head is 1/8 of his height; from the top of the breast to the roots of the hair will be the 7th part of the whole man. From the nipples to the top of the head will be the 4th part of man. The greatest width of the shoulders contains in itself the 4th part of man. From the elbow to the tip of the hand will be the 5th part of a man; and from the elbow to the angle of the armpit will be the 8th part of man. The whole hand will be the 10th part of the man. The distance from the bottom of the chin to the nose and from the roots of the hair to the eyebrows is, in each case the same, and like the ear, a third of the face.

The Adventure

Part golem themself, the master artist worked with chisel and hammer to create a living statue.

A beast both of art and burden. One that would never tire, never age, needed no substance to survive on, and would always look perfect. As they polished the last spot on the marble, the golem’s arm made whirling and clicking sounds as it pumped the magic needed to make the statue come to life.

it's been mainly raining since i returned from the 3 week heat wave at Mrs.Cattus's...i'm desperate to get a 'singing in the rain' shot and waited for yet another shower to tip its load...i waited and waited and waited but the shower i wanted didn't materialise so i popped a jump only for the rain to start as i finished jumping...alas the rain was torrential and as my Nikon isn't amphibious i didn't risk my rain shot...it did however force me to think about making a rain-proof housing for my camera...i have a couple of ideas, watch this space for the inevitable rain shots!
