"I'm going to buy you so many Lizards." Says Phillip J. Fry to Leela as an expression of his love in S2Ep8 "Xmas Story."

I love that episode but more the line is something that sticks with me. When my husband does something that makes me feel overwhelmed with love for him I say this. When he does something extra special and I want him to know how much I appreciate him, I say this. He says it to me too, it's an expression of love that most people don't get but it signifies our relationship. Geekness even invades our mushy life.

I made this as vector/line art. I think it might end up in the merch store too, what do you think? Would you want this on a tee shirt? or something else as cool?

I was dragged on stage and persuaded to dance by a half naked Polynesian man. I didn't take much convincing.

It was totally geeklove that brought me to Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. Not the easiest place to get to, but I couldn't resist. It's been used in too many cheesy scifi tv shows and movies to skip. This is an HDR, which I used to get some light into the shadows here. I also darkened and desaturated the sky. More Mars-like, yes? I see a movie plot building here... Cropped strange too, as a 10x20 or 12x24.

Someone's a Smartass and/or a Slacker.

I'm amazed at how many boyfriends she's had. This one's Steven.

Online dating in India is a recent phenomenon one which is catching-up very fast. India has the

maximum number of people in the 18-25 age group as a percentage of the total population. This

This piece uses images from Flickr, positioned according to the time of day each image was taken. By rendering the images translucent and layering them, a heat map is formed, with the brightest areas indicating when the majority of the photos were taken.

I used to read books like this off Pier 17. A good book is a great way to spend the day.

Amusingly enough, this photo is being leeched off my Photo Blog by a college kid on Xanga. It's not much traffic so I'm not putting in controls to stop it yet.
