I spotted this gecko on a wall, when it was getting dark, used some extra light, that's why it looks so bright.
Remarkable they can walk on a wall. How would it be lik/feel if we could walk vertically? ;-))

(Best in Large) Love the "bokeh" skin of this little gecko! This photo was in Hershey Gardens. The little gecko was in a glass cage and it was very difficult to get a picture of him, but at least I was able to photograph his face.
Leopard geckos are mostly nocturnal🌛, yes! Whilst leopard geckos are not out and about during the day like a bearded dragon, they do emerge at dawn and dusk as well as at night. It's then that they absorb UV, and warm up for the day – or night!
The leopard gecko or common leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) is a ground-dwelling lizard native to the rocky dry grassland and desert regions of Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, India, and Nepal. The leopard gecko has become a popular pet. Their harmless behavior and seemingly pleasant “smile” have made them attractive to a wide variety of keepers from the novice to the advanced specialist.
Thank you very much for your kind comments and visit, much appreciated!

Portrait of a beautiful sub-adult Moritz's Leaf-tailed Gecko (Saltuarius moritzi) that the family encountered on a night walk torching through a remnant patch of lowland rainforest near Coffs Harbour on the scenic east coast of northern NSW recently.
Je suis tout petit environ 6cm et je vis sous le sable c'est pour cela que ma peau est translucide je n'ai pas de paupière mais une très grande langue bleue pour me nettoyer les yeux
THE GIBBER GECKO
On the rocks..
Portrait of a stunning little Gibber Gecko (Lucasium byrnei) found on an open stony plain not far out of the town of Coober Pedy in central South Oz. He was seen running across the road on a mild and windy night recently.
A gorgeous adult male Western Beaked Gecko (Rhynchoedura ornata) that was spotted prostrate to the bitumen on the Barkly Highway in the central east of the Northern Territory recently. The location was not far out from the Barkly Homestead. It was a mild evening given the season and the immediate habitat was a compacting sandplain with an open layer of hummock grass (Triodia sp.), and an overstory of Acacia shrubland.
Portrait of a really nice adult male South Coast Gecko (Diplodactylus calcicolus) that we saw crossing a dirt track on a warm summer night near Fowlers Bay, which is located on the cusp of the Nullarbor Plain in SA.
The immediate habitat was a slight rise off the saline coastal plain comprised of heavier calcareous soils and vegetated with saltbush and thickets of low acacia shrubs. There were discreet slabs of eroded limestone present.

The Tessellated Gecko
An adult female Tessellated Gecko (Diplodactylus tessellatus) from a vast gibber plain south of Coober Pedy in central SA.
Portrait shot of a stunning adult female Elegant Velvet Gecko (Oedura elegans). A species only recently described in 2019, when it was split from the O. monilis complex.
I recently found her sheltering beneath exfoliated bark on the main trunk of a standing dead Acacia tree. The immediate habitat was open brigalow woodland on a compacting, red-soil plain to the north of the town of Augathella. Augathella is located in southern inland Queensland.
It was a privelidge and a pleasure to see and photograph this very beautiful lizard.
Trying to see double!
this Gecko was a wonderful macro subject, didn't want to be rushing off like the frogs
This species of Gecko was a common sight on Sardinia. I found them anywhere there were were rocky outcrops. This one was enjoying the early morning sun on a dry stone wall.
For Macro Mondays - Keychain.
This little guy has been holding my house keys for many years - the key ring passes through his nostrils. A single piece of solid aluminum, green throughout.
An exercise in rim lighting. Speedlight with reflector and grid, behind and upper left. Two small white card reflectors below, one somewhat larger silver reflector above right.
The gecko is 2.5 inches nose-to-tail. The image is 2.2 inches per side.
A gorgeous adult female Marbled Velvet Gecko (Oedura cincta) found out and about in the eastern MacDonnell Ranges out of Alice Springs on a mild evening recently. NT Aus.

I asked him for a few anxious or unsettled takes, but it simply wasn't in his nature...
Three inches in greatest dimension.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ MT ISA SPECIAL ♥
I was so wrapped to see this cute little boy out on a track during a rainstorm on a warm and unsettled evening recently. He was found on a stony lower slope of the the rugged and scenic Selwyn Range near Mt Isa in far western Queensland. The tiny and nimble Phasmid Striped Gecko (Strophurus taeniatus) is pefectly adapted to a life within the confines of spiky hummock grass clumps. I really like how I got to show the prehensile tail at work in this particular image. I had not seen one from this population for over thirty years. I have old analog images of that original specimen though, and so it was really cool to get some updated digital images to cherish of this charming little lizard. A memorable encounter.
(EXPLORE) I went on a really cool night kayak tour one evening in Paquera. I met the couple running the tours at their "outdoor" home before we got started. (See pics below)
I was told to look up and check out their gecko feeders.......isn't that great?! The bugs come to the light and the gecko's have a continuous buffet. :D
Here's the link to the bioluminescent tour I took, it was like watching Tinkerbell's fairy dust in the water. An amazing sight, but unfortunately very difficult to capture on camera:
