El Cantorel Géant es un queso de leche pasteurizada de vaca, de textura blanda y corteza enmohecida. Aromático y de suave sabor, ligeramente ácido, lácteo y notas a setas, muy semejante al Camembert, aunque con un sabor cremoso que lo hace atractivo para todos los paladares.
La marca Cantorel, heredera de una larga tradición quesera, es originaria de la región de Cantal, en el corazón de la Auvernia (región del centro de Francia que comprende cuatro departamentos: Puy-de-Dôme, Cantal, Alto Loira y Allier).
the tumbling choas of ice in the centre of the picture is the Geant icefall which seperates the Glacier du Geant from the Glacier du Tacul. The mountain behind is the Tour Ronde (3792m)
If you look closely on the large version, you can see the Requin Hut on the promontry to the right of the icefall, and the tiny dots in the sky are the Helbronner telepherique which passes from France into italy.
