You couldn't recreate this view today since the New Haven Coliseum was imploded on January 20th 2007 due to 15 years of disuse. Also, the old "Q" bridge has been replaced by a large and much more modern one. Boy did that create traffic jams! The empty land in Long Wharf (distant right) now holds a giant IKEA store and their massive parking lot.
