While out patrolling the backroads of Michigan this small mom and pop shop that’s been sitting abandoned for decades is one of my favorite spots.

A short MRL Day Gas train snakes its way along Flathead River at Perma, MT.

House in Howden, North Yorkshire.

Not only was this old firetruck out of gas, but the gas was out of gas.

Am I the only one who has ever done this? I worked out several variations of this shot with this one being the one I liked the least. I deleted all of the supposedly "bad' ones along with the original. A few days later I discovered that this was the only one I had left. So not my best work but it is what I have!

The buildings used as sets for the program were allowed to fall into disrepair after the show wrapped up production. They were purchased by an entrepreneur who converted them into a museum and souvenir shop. The set was demolished in November 2016.

On 28 September 2014, the building that was used as the FOO[D] MAR[KE]T, the local grocery store in the series, was destroyed in a fire. The grain elevator was destroyed in a fire on November 5, 2021, about two weeks after the building used for depicting Dog River's police station collapsed.

BNSF’s night Gas Local follows the Clark Fork approaching Quinns, Montana, on the eve of April 25, 2025. At this point of time, the train is still powered by EMD—a pair of BNSF SD75I locomotives.

Het zijn zoogdieren, maar het verschil kun je normaal pas goed zien als ze tegen gaas op klimmen en de buik zichtbaar is.

In this little hut, there is a gas barrel. A manual pump enables to put it in the glass jar you can see (so that people can see and check that the gas look good) and then the woman put in a plastic pitcher and then pour it in the motorbike tank.

During the time of locally generated town gas from coal distillation, the 'town' or 'coal' gas was stored in metal gas holders often incorrectly called 'gasometers'..

An inner bottomless tank contains the gas and it rises and falls on a water seal. Tracks on the six upright pillars guide the tank. In any city or town they would dominate the skyline. This one at Fakenham, Norfolk, is a relatively tiny version enough for a small town and built in 1888.
