Custom built Bubble Top Roadster - Built by Cody of The Speedshifters Wheel Club. Built in true traditional 1960's style, Cody and the Speedshifters built this car from the ground up, in his garage from November 2010 - June 2011. This car made it's maiden voyage 4th of July Weekend to the MArshall Cruise to the Fountain Car Show and won "Best Custom". If it werent for a couple tornado's dropping trees on his pole barn and house, this car would have been on the road closer to May. Not bad for a build from the ground up, all from an idea in his head and some models that he built as a kid for inspiration. Of Course, the inspiration for The Star Chief comes from Mr. Ed Roth and the wild show cars he was building in the early 60's. This is a Pontiac Powered Car using all traditional/vintage speed equipment. What makes this Bubbletop unique is that Cody believes that all cars are built to be driven, so yes. This car has seen the road. You will not find a trailer queen in the Speedshifters Wheel Club.

Behind the scenes at a shoot I was doing yesterday with a couple of custom bikes. The location I'd chosen was like the surface of the moon, so was easier to keep the bikes on the back of a truck to move them to the location. :)
