Estocolmo, la capital de Suecia, está repartida sobre un total de 14 islas situadas en el lago Mälaren y se extiende orgullosa hacia el mar Báltico en su extremo oriental. Sus grandiosos edificios públicos, palacios, rico legado histórico y museos nos relatan de una manera espléndida y singular sus 700 años de historia.
Quizás, ningún otro sitio lo ilustra mejor que Gamla Stan. Allí podrás admirar preciosas calles adoquinadas, edificios retorcidos pero perfectamente conservados, el famoso Palacio Real, iglesias góticas y excelentes cafeterías, bares, restaurantes y tiendas donde adquirir artículos de diseño sueco.

Perhaps nowhere else is this more evident than Gamla Stan. There you can admire beautiful cobbled streets, crooked but beautifully preserved buildings, the famous Royal Palace, gothic churches and excellent cafés, bars, restaurants and shops where you can buy items of Swedish design.

Well, here's yet another (late) blue hour shot from Stockholm. Gamla Stan is on the right and Slussen on the left and joining them is a brige in the middle!
I really liked the deep blue colors in the sky and was lucky to find the right spot to take this shot.
Do view it large... looks even better, IMHO!
