Fairly new Canadian National Geez pass the local park shelter. Chess or checkers anyone? Can't help but think of that seventies group, the Spinners.."12:45 headed for the CN home"..

This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "Toy".
Elijah's favorite toy is his squirrel on a string which you can see in this picture. We play with it every day. It's a Skinneeez toy by Ethical Pet.
The blue square you see him sitting in.... one of my doctors told me a while ago to make a square on the floor with tape (masking tape, painters tape, etc..) and watch as our kitties would go right to it. I really thought that he was kidding about the cats going into it. Both Elijah and Noah went right to it and sat within the square. I'm going to have to show him this picture... and tell him he was right. It was a fun "game" to try.
*We tried the square when they were about 16 or 20 weeks old and they didn't go into it. Actually they sat on the outside of it and just looked at us.

Part of the Xmas party! Showjumping - it was how many jumps they could do in 2 minutes - Maddy, a young friend of our goes for it! She is a small child on a small pony - would be less than 13 hh!!
Today's Macro Monday theme is 'Games That People Play' and one of the things we've been playing more of as the kids get older are different types of board games.
We've a pretty good collection built up over the past couple of years, but we've still not managed to grab a game of Colt Express which has a 3D train as its board.
Maybe this weekend we'll make an extra effort to play it.
As we hadn't been able to celebrate JJ's birthday as we'd hoped, we had the brainwave that we could get some of the family together online to play some word and drawing games!! Matt and Sophie, my sister and niece, Cath, were up for it, and at 8pm we managed to hook up successfully! It was a fun way to get together and we all agreed we must do it again sometime!
(The top pic is from Matt's phone - he said their cat Cardi was confused as she could hear our voices but she didn't know where we were!!)
