On Saturday night my sister had a game night at her place with her boyfriend & some of her friends. I wasn't in the mood to go but ended up going anyways....
I'm glad I did.
This little control brought hours of fun. If you haven't played Buzz you simply must. It's the perfect game for groups & the games have a tendency to get pretty intense.
Plus there was pizza & wings, chips & dip, fruit, as well as this fabulous salsa-y/cheese-y/sour cream-y dip that my sister makes. And for dessert, apple pie with a really yummy rich vanilla ice cream. Delicious!
Overall, a fabulous Saturday night.
Since Fall break was coming and more importantly, final exams were approaching, MaSA decided to have a hangout before we go all stressed up camping at the library studying for our exams.
We have board games for the night. Members were free to bring their own board games to play with others and to come joining the even even if they were not bringing any board game!
Drinks were provided during that Thursday (11/20/2014) night!
The particular game of dominoes had a train. Athan enjoyed moving it around the center when it was time.
Dawn puts up with a lot of my teasing, and is an amazingly good sport about it. This is an honestly good shot of her.
The Civic Center Library sponsored a free Photo Booth and hosted its first tabletop Game Night on Tuesday September 16!
We had many visitors to the Purple Monkey Photo Booth in the Civic Center Cafeteria, and later in the day at the Civic Center Library. After posing with a prop or a favorite book, or just some goofy friends, visitors left photos and comments for the Civic Center Library's scrapbook.
Game Night was a chance for all ages to enjoy a wide variety of games including old favorites like chess, checkers, Scrabble, Monopoly, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Sorry, Yahtzee, Uno and more. Thank you to everyone who came by, and made this event a huge success!

I can still recall old Mr. Barnslow, getting out every morning and nailing a fresh load of tadpoles to that old board of his. Then he'd spin it round and round, like a wheel of fortune, and no matter where it stopped, he'd yell, "Tadpoles! Tadpoles is a winner!" We all thought he was crazy, but then, we had some growing up to do.
