New Years Resolution #1 - out with the old...major clean out required of garage, closets and well, basically our whole house. I think that every three years we should be required to take everything out of our house and put it in the front lawn and then bring back in only stuff we really want. I am not good at getting rid of stuff and that might help.
And no, I am not actually going to throw away my duct taped-boots and ripped jeans. I like 'em too much. So there!

A huge iron fox sculpture was erected on the bank of the Talkša Lake in Šiauliai in December 2009. The sculpture is 7 metres high, 25 metres long and weighs 7 tons. The iron fox, a symbol of inventiveness and wisdom, was made to commemorate the 1000 year anniversary of the name of Lithuania.
The structure of the fox has a "heart" with a built-in time capsule for future generations. The heart is made of galvanized metal and fitted in the statue exactly in the "usual place" for the heart.
From my archives of two years ago, this galvanized metal fencing is weathering and eroding in a most beautiful way. This was seen near the Tucson Convention Center, taken on a gray afternoon a few blocks off where we parked. Mark will remember this fence well as he and I had a good time working with all the abstract wonders here just capturing a bit at a time.
Unusual shadows cast to a galvanized metal wall from fencing. How did the shadows become so smoothly elliptical from obviously crooked fencing mesh? A contrast of light and shadow, rust and crust and of course composition here are all what attracts me for a typical "cobalt art moment". Taken in Prescott, Arizona in strong early morning light.

Barn door tracks were used to hang sliding doors. The sliding doors saved space and added to the contemporary feel with the unique galvanized and poloycarbonate walls with aluminum studs.
17 feet metal and 16 feet fibreglas--darkened by snows of sierra's (or chem-tRails)...the last ten years until today, i'V not Really seen my pRoject. The metal piece was started in 1978 as a group of artists on Truckee CA brought discarded culvert drain pipes to a pile-- gather. Next, two years later we did a pickem-up trucks pulling! Then, in 1983 i was the final recipient of all challengers to continue. I drove back to gRass Valley CA, and started my angel hair forms over corrugated paper--from corrugation to corrugation.
Thus, then gRew into a corrugation of mountains-- memories of hiking and free-planting conifers--studying photogRaphy, too! moved piece from one to spot two--maintaining 'shell concept'. In 2003, I moved piece to Cohasset mountain (see pHoT w Kenny). Thus 11-years w Kenny and oNLY two to werk that, where the pRoject of "aRam-jet" turned toward sink or swam away! Brought back to stop 'n Rest cabin where the two-piuces sat for two months-- until today 9-13-14...
