A certain little dog didn't want to get up today but she did manage to poke her head out from under her blankie. Funny thing is on Saturdays and Sundays our dogs wake us at 4.30 anxious to go for their run :)

By the time we arrived at where I wanted to be for the sunrise I missed the pretty pink bits this morning but still managed to get the golden glow. Another spectacular sunrise in Albuquerque today.

This is a shot that i took with my outdated Samsung Galaxy S6, in full manual mode. It was a hard job to tweak the picture in post, because of noise and other artifacts. I still think this came out quite alright. If nothing else; The scenery is top notch! Sorry for the frame.

The Puffing Billy railway was one of four low-cost 2'6" (762mm) gauge lines constructed in Victoria in the early 1900s to open up remote areas.
The Marriner's Falls is currently closed by Parks Victoria who are ignoring local protests about reopening these falls. They claim the risk of falling trees is to great to allow public access. We found out the falls track was closed when we got there but was told by other walkers you can still walk up there. Was glad we did.
